I know it's pretty baby, but I didn't take it out for air.
Minus Ellen Burstyn's performance, this movie is just pretty good until the final act.
When are Hollywood going to stop pandering to faux nerds and start pandering to real ones?
Look at how profitable it is to pander to fake nerds. I wish all this would die already.
no one wants to watch a show about a guy dating a pillow in his moms basement

Why does every capeshit trilogy have a solid beginner, peak at the sequel, then have a disappointing finisher (often riddled with plotholes)?
Don't believe me?

The Dark Knight Rises was crowned by Forbes as the best modern comic book superhero adaption on screen, outranking both its main summer blockbuster competitor, Marvel's The Avengers, and the trilogy's previous installment The Dark Knight.
The Telegraph granted the film a maximum score of five stars, stating that it is "a superhero film without a superhero," comparing it with The Godfather Part II and praising Hardy's performance as well as the film's intricate plot and narrative.
The Los Angeles Times thought the film was "potent,...

The entire Nolan Batman trilogy is garbage
is this the worst new character to be introduced into the marvel universe?
no?
If by worst, you mean best, then yeah.

I didn't really have a problem with Jean saving the day, I mean she is the most powerful mutant ever (inb4 scarlet witch). What made the movie terrible for me was everyones worship of Mystique.
I mean what did she actually do in days of future past to be declared a world wide hero? I swear they just wanted to cash in on some stupid hunger games idol worship crap.
but they made the phoenix a thing she was born with not the cosmic being
not as bad as i thought it would be but still pretty shit
literally Ancient evil awakens: the movie
felt its fucking length with that terrible final fight
EVERY scene where jlaw even mentioned is pure cringe
quicksilver scene was cool and some of the fight scenes were alright but overall it was a long predictable cringefest
4/10 would not recommend

I can't wait for this movie to get released, fail critically and commercially and see all salty snowflakes blame patriarchy for the movie's failure.

Well in 8 months when President Trump is sworn in office we'll be on our way to burning the country down and resetting.
ITT: Personal 10's and why
The movie is super comfy and quotable. Meryl Strep also has a god tier performance as Miranda.
>'This... stuff'? Oh. Okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select... I don't know... that lumpy blue sweater, for instance because you're trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back. But what you don't know is that that sweater is not just blue, it's not turquoise. It's not lapis. It's actually cerulean. And you're also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns. And then I think it was Yves Saint Laurent... wasn't it who showed cerulean military jackets? I think we need a jacket here. And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of eight different designers. And then it, uh, filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic Casual Corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs and it's sort of comical how you think that you've made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you're wearing the sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room from a pile of stuff.

Can anybody think of a film that blew as many minds like The Matrix did back in the day?
>there will never be a movie that encapsulates a genre of sci Fi as well as the matrix ever again

2001
Pulp Fiction
Aliens
maybe Silence of the Lambs too
At least for me, Inception blew my mind in a similar fashion that Matrix did.
