From a conversation Recalcitrant Daze had with Andy Hoare, Mark Bedford, and Chris Drew at Warhammerfest 2016
>The game is set during the Horus Heresy in the spirit of the original Adeptus Titanicus.
>It will begin with just Titans.
>The scale will be 8mm - They decided on this scale after 3D printing a Marine, Dread, Leman Russ, Warlord and a Mastodon in three different scales.
>8mm was deemed the best as you could see the details to the point of telling different armor marks apart but didn't make the Titans too big.
>8mm will make a Warlord around 6" tall (that's what it looked like when Andy Hoare put his hands apart, don't blame me if the final model is smaller or larger...).
>The models will be produced in resin by Forge World.
>Typical force may be in the region of two Warlords, two Reavers and two-three Warhounds.
>More Titan variants are possible.
>Down the road infantry and tanks are to be introduced.
>Other forces are also possible, this includes Xenos which can be introduced in a themed expansion, e.g. Adeptus Titanicus: Armageddon to bring in the Orks.
>Currently the Titans are being 3D modeled by Chris Drew, the Warlord has been done as the 40k version was originally 3D modeled so it was a case of just scaling things down and getting it to work as a model which can be manufactured.
>We may, may, get to see something at the Forge World Open Day...(may, depending on Tony Cottrell)

Wasn't old Epic 6mm? Kinda dickish move imo. But at least is something.
>>47263581
Not really much a surprise, they already pretty much said that Epic was going to return at the last Horus Heresy Weekender and that it would be a different size.
I just picked up a copy of Black Crusade for 20 bucks, so I figured it'd be time to get one of these guys rolling!

>Each Planeswalker Deck will be a preconstructed 60-card deck and will be packaged with two booster packs from that block with an MSRP of $14.99
>The decks will play into mechanical themes of the block, most often making use of a new keyword mechanic. The default will be that the decks will be two-color even if the Planeswalker is monocolor.
>The other big difference about Planeswalker Decks is that there's going to be five cards in each that won't be found in the expansion, but that will be considered connected to that block for Standard legality
>The Planeswalker Decks will premiere with Kaladesh, this year's fall set, where they will replace Intro Packs.
>One copy of a mythic rare planeswalker
>Two copies of a rare spell that has an effect and also tutors for the specific planeswalker
>Three copies of an uncommon permanent that is enhanced by having the planeswalker on the battlefield
>Four copies of a common flavored to the Planeswalker
>Four copies of an appropriate common dual land

I'm actually curious about the uncommons, which apparently key off the planeswalker type, while the rare tutors go for the card name. they might be interesting to mix up with other copies of recurring walkers.

You know I keep wondering if Jumpers have you ever lost yourself?
Like losing your sense of self/forget who you were before? Was it better that you forgot who you once were and living in the moment or worst that you have decided to destroy a piece of your past to cover up who you were before in order to live now? Sorry if I seem annoying I am just curious.Might be the wrong place to ask this since I'm on /tg/ but I'm mainly asking as if you were your jumper self.
Now I know we don't really do the "waifu thing" on this board but pretend for a second that we do, get yourself in that headspace:
Who would be you /tg/waifu?

So im sitting here in my patrol car, eating my chicken, when a rather odd thought crosses my mind. A comic was posted around some time ago of Imperial Orks with a Warboss Commissar. These Divisions would more than likely have a couple of weirdboyz. If the weirdboyz started sayinf prayers of healing to the Emporer, would the ork physcosis thing start to kick in?
>Loyal Orks cleaning their weapons with spit and squig liquid as per usual
>Shoota asks the Weirdboy how the Emporer is doing
>"Aw he'z Aw-roit, shou' be bak' up inna' no time lad."
>Shoota then tells other ladz that the Weirdboy said the Emporer should be ready to Waugh with them in no time
>More ladz hear and start talking to each other and start all dreaming of fighting beside Da' Bestest Wa'Boss
>Soon whole division is thinking this way
>Back on the Golden Throne, a Custodes sees the Emporer twitch
What then?...

Yeah, but then he'd start thinking about how he could harness all that psychic power...
Hi Everyone. Got back Earlier from my local GW (London) after having played 2 games of Silver Tower (1 short and 1 unfinished but both great)
I wanted to share my stories and hopefully get to hear the stories and thoughts of others who played the game (Personally i think it might be the best boardgame made by gw)
SO, let's start
Game 1, 6 players (4 heroes and 2 villains)
I played as the villain as many people wanted to try the game and as i preordered it i could take my time. Because of that i became a GM with assistant, i was the gaunt summoner and assistant was blort the book familiar. As a gaunt summoner i rolled the dice for the bad guys while my assistant helped me and also rolled some dice.
Against= two dwarf doomseekers, 1 sigmarite knight and 1 crazy dark elf.
This game was short (3 rooms) but was great fun: first room corridor with 8 spider gobbos. Doomseeker 1 (Beavis) Runs in and kills a gobbo. The knight (lets call him leeroy) follows in, moves past him and also kills 1 gobbo. Second doomseeker (butthead) runs up next to Beavis and kills 1 goblin then the dark elf (Rabies) runs past everyone to stand next to knight and kills 1 goblin. At this time im asking them to be original while my assistant repeats his name Blort. I have a conversation with him about how terrible these adventurers were. Next the knight accidentally activates an event causing everyone else to take a wound and while everyone else curses him the team finishes off the rest of the gobbos.
Second room: Library with a souped up pink horror (the librarian) Now the dwarf players realize they can throw axes for free at the end of their turn. So Beavis misses and Butthead hits. Rabies teleports behind the librarian and deal 4 wounds to it (it has 8 thanks to being a fancy horror). Leeroy on the other hand walks off into a portal and finds himself behind the librarian... and ignores it, walking off to activate the next room. Doesnt reach it yet not enough movement.
(post continues)
Next turn, Elf and the two dwarves take out the librarian down to two wounds, then Beavis misses his thrown axe and Butthead hits (remember this pattern) The horror now on one wound takes Butthead down to 1 health. Now Leeroy, instead of helping his team out... decides to open up the next portal, hence his name. Door opens up to one of the end levels (they complete this level they win the game). Now here is the fun part, in that room were 6 Tzeentch gors, and as the knight was the last one to move that round all he could do was armor up to a 3+ and hope for the best... He got eradicated by the gors and died a painful death. In the next round the Rabie,s Beavis and Butthead were panicking as the gors would destroy them. Butthead finishes off the Horror and the little horrors that spawned from that while Rabies and Beavis blocked the room entrance so they only had to fight 2 gors at once. Butthead healed up while the other two killed off a Gor.
Now here is the fun part, little did they realize that the room had two tricks up it's sleeve.
1: whenever a gor died the other ones would gain 2 wounds (last gore had 15 wounds)
2: if there were two or more players in the final room once all the gors died... they'd have to fight each other to the death for the prize of a shard of amulet.
At this point me and my assistant were talking about how i was a genius setting up all these traps myself and how i was good looking.*cough cough*
Then the players thought up a genius plan. The two dwarves would stand at the doorway throwing axes into the room while Rabies teleported in the center and gained the gor's attention. This took a few rounds but it worked.
Thanks to this tactic they killed the gors and won the game without having to kill each other.
(post continues)
During that time though i made a mental count of the axes thrown by the dwarves... Beavis Hit 0 and Butthead hit all of them. We decided that Beavis was so bad at throwing the axes that they were all thrown next to Butthead who proceeded to be a sharpshooter.
We also all laughed at Leeroy for being a prick and dying off on his lonesome... dammit Leeroy.
If you guys want to hear the second story im happy to oblige. I also would like to hear the stories of others who tried the game out. (i will be playing more of this tommorow so i'll have more stories.

>Autistically Keeping Best General OP Image for 4 Threads Sub-Edition
Not a huge fan of the early thread starting but its been nice not hearing about the OP image.
Jinxing it now.
Threadly reminders:
>New FAQ tomorrow
>Orks still have models that predate the Tau
>True Line of Sight is shit
>vehicles should just use Toughness instead of AV
>Grav is OP
>gretchin minidex when
>the OP image will always be shit no matter what it is
>Tau are desperate allies with their own gue'vasa auxiliaries
>New actually decently priced 40k start painting/playing kit comes out in non-gaming stores soon™
>Tau superheavy tank in next IA
>LD 10 bubbles and LD ignoring rules are too common
>Strength D weapons belong exclusively in apocalypse
>Decurions are a meme to sell more models
>The 100 NA stores celebration model is shit
>Rumored plastic Warhound Titan in early stages of production
>The Emperor sheds a tear when you touch yourself at night
>>47288347
>Orks and Chaos both have models older than Tau or Necrons.

Fucking finally! I've been waiting for this for way too long. (I missed last session) Also, tell your sister that the internet says congrats.
Fox moves her eyes up and looks at your heat hanging precariously of one of her ears. "I-I'm sorry..." She stutters nervously. "You want me to...hack you?"
You nod.
She gasps. "But goddess...I mean Lesath, that's something a superior does to an inferior! I-I don't understand at all...do you want to be...and please don't think I'm taking out of my position Lesath...inferior to me?"
FOX FIRE IS CONFUSED. WHAT EXACTLY DID LESATH MEAN BY "HACK ME GENTLY?"
SAY/DO?
>>47285172
>tell your sister that the internet says congrats.
She appreciates it!
>waiting for this for way too long
I didn't expect to be so busy after finals. I'm hoping I can start getting back into the groove of things.
I've also been a bad GM. I've been spending too much time with the Cape World project and not enough time on my quests. That's going to change.
Is there a bigger red flag for a shit campaign than "political intrigue"?
Sandbox. It either isn't, is and everything is a waste of time and GM will be a bitch with information because we are supposed to explore or the players all have divergent agendas and the game becomes a fucking mess.
>>47274037
Homebrew allowed.
>>47274087
Does anyone but the GM ever attempt that? Seriously?
I'm a newly made DM and I have the summer to write a campaign for Delta Green, to be played next semester. There are a couple issues therein
>I am not sure how to write horror effectively, and one of the players, plus myself, are arachnophobic enough for SPIDERS EXIT EVERY ORIFICE to be off the table
>I've never written a campaign before.
>I've read all the shotgun scenarios, so I have some idea for how the mood should be and how things work
>I know where I'm setting it- a Massachusetts university town (the town, in fact, where the university myself and my players are at)
tl;dr pls give me advice for how to write a campaign that will
a) be fucking horrifying
b) be extremely fun to play
c) will force my players to not meme
I'm planning tobuythe manual when it comes available, because I want to support the team.
oh, also, delta green thread?
