So I'm sure this isn't an original idea, but I tend to favor EDH decks that have an element of bad cards to the deck yet it makes the game more fun/infuriating to play. Long story short I got the idea to try and make a carefully planned EDH deck out of the worst cards made in Magic's history and I was wondering if anyone knew any hidden gems like pic related I could toss in.

Try this
There is a difference between a bad card and a bad card that creates an interesting boardstate. Wood Elemental, for example, is just a bad card. All it does is remove resources from you, and singularly you. That's not interesting, that's a doom blade waiting to blow you the fuck out.
>>43994235
But that's sort of what I wanted to make a mix of; bad cards and some unusual cards that could patch them up. I know it sounds weird but I already have enough "real" EDH decks
What kind of beer do your dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, humans, trolls and giants drink?
(Elves don't drink beer, of course.)
I sometimes place rare alcohols as treasure in my games. But it takes a skilled beerologist to recognize it and sell it before it gets drunk.

A concoction the lads call "Bugman's fourple ecks" or somesuch. I'm more of an Absinthe type, myself.
Nothing about the Great Crusade makes any sense.
Like making a deal with Mars, the Emperor makes a deal with 1 planet and then goes on to militarily conquer 999,999 planets, unless that planet is Krypton there is really no reason not to conquer it too. I mean apparently the Great Crusade was so important that he was willing to make people who had been kidnapped by chaos into the highest generals in his army(it doesn't take a farseer to see the only outcome that could have) but he doesn't annex mars? Annexing a random stone age world fifty thousand light years...

I don't think conquering worlds was the primary objective. If they could be annexed through dipomacy, great. If it had a massive factory, a STC and the ruler/s cared only about themselves then you send in the military.
As for your second point, you're thinking logically whereas the Imperium is anything but.
>>43993381

Not annexing Mars was probably his biggest mistake because the imperiu a biggest problem is it doesn't have the technology to do what it needs to survive
So in my weekly game, my cyborg character just got access to a tone of cash and his own personal mad scientist for upgrades. The chest piece is top of the line, but I need ideas for what to do with his limbs and head.
His roll in the party is combat monster, and the problems he faces are people who teleport, multiply, fuck with time (chooses best outcome of an event and it happens) and in general break rules of reality. Vague, I know, but that's what I have to deal with. Tech level of the game is varied, from generally what you expect from 3 decades in the future...

OP here:
One thing I forgot to note, the system is FATE so dont worry about the rules. Please go crazy, my GM believes in Rule of Cool.
Dumping what little I have to keep it alive.
"Cyborg? What the infernal warp is that? And why do you have so much flesh on you? It looks stupid and you should feel stupid."
Which black token producers are worth shit? I'm having trouble filing out the slots in my non-powered cube.
The best you can probably get outside of BG is 2/2 zombies, just look for the best producers of those.
Pack Rat is technically a token producer.

Virtual 3/3's ain't bad.
You lie face down on the cobblestone, hidden away in an alley. Cracked and broken shingles lay splayed around you, and the tell-tale tinkle of yet more broken pottery trickling to the ground from on high reveals your skyward origin. Was this how it was going to end? Falling to death into the waiting jaws of this miserable town? Try as you might, you couldn't feel your legs. You couldn't feel your arms. A distant commotion from the streets alerted you to the fact that some of the citizens of Carona were already curious to investigate what the sudden crashing had been, and with them would undoubtedly come guards.
Your fingers twitched, curling against the dirty ground as grit scrapes your skin. You couldn't just lay here, no matter how bad it...
It didn't actually hurt that much.Though the roof broke the fall a little, I'm impressed at how resilient you are.
You blearily will your limbs to work, pushing yourself clumsily to your knees. The ground was surprisingly warm. Everything was surprisingly warm, really.Naturally. It's the cold that was unnatural, you know?
You revel in the novelty of no longer being frozen alive as feeling begins to slowly sink back into your skin - And with it, the dull aches and pains of your impromptu landing performance. You let out a plaintive hiss at that, but ignore it long enough to get to your feet.
You sway shakily for a moment. There were shadows on the far end of the alley, probably people coming in from the street. Dimly you could make out a din of rushed conversation, but nothing specific. Your head was still swimming from impact.Perhaps less resilient than I thought. Maybe we should be grateful the Atelier left you so numb.
You glance around with malformed irritable thoughts swimming groggily through your head, finally finding what you were after - A book covered in a thin sheet of frost, emanating cold in the warm night.
You didn't have time to think too hard about what you were about to do, though.
>Hide in the alley before people come.
>Run, if they can't identify you then you just need to lose them.
>Use the your Relic.

Just bring back the fucking Emperor, the small-time characters are boring as fuck.
But he's still there though. Also it were the Primarchs and their second in commands who were interesting during the Heresy not the Emperor.

Your post makes you seem a petulant, entitled little brat having a tantrum.
So, how's college life treating you, Snowfake?
>>43994023
Do you intentionally try to imitate a bratty high school girl or are you just naturally like that?
Genuine question.
What's the /tg/ scene like in Asian countries? Thinking of movie but not sure where.
Assuming I learn their language would I be able to find ching-chongs who play /traditional games/ or do they all just play Starcraft and LoL all day?

From what I understand, RPGs and CCGs are bitter over there than tabletop wargames.

bigger. I mean bigger

So you're thinking of moving to Asia, but not sure what country? Why?
Because if it's about oriental girls, that's a terrible reason to pick a place to live.
I was planning on asling this on /his/, but you guys are probably going to be more useful, and I'm half of /tg/'s posters interlap with /his/ anyway.
I'm looking for someone to explain to me or point me to sources of early russian history... mainly how bronze age came to be, and major happenings, social/political/economical/religious/folkloric oranization, local legends and myths, views on witchcraft if any.
I'd also be thrilled if some good art and representations of the people and tools;
/weapons were posted, I'll be posting some myself.
Please,...

>You will never be a player
>You will never run something the players don't want to play
Why would I want to? I enjoy DMing more than playing.
>>43992100
Whattaya running, fampai?
>>43992194
Nothing because my group didn't want to play anything that wouldn't let them optimize out the ass and murderhobo everything.
The group disbanded when I told them that if they didn't want to play what I felt like running one of them should do it.
/tg/, what is a genre or feature which is rare, but you would like to see more of in RPG's. For me, detailed generation of gods and monsters is useful but very rare in practice. You also very rarely see science-fantasy as an explored genre.

Mechanically complex and competent systems which focus on narrative mechanics and genre simulation over attempts at authenticity or realism. I love Legends of the Wulin, the best example so far, but I'd love to see other games take different approaches to the same design space.

Here's some nice art to keep the thread afloat. This is one of my favorite interpretations of the god Saturn.
You are the head researcher at a government facility. Your sole responsibility is to teach the world's first autonomous AI, nicknamed Pandora, about life, the world and her existence.
Previously you decided to assign Pandora some homework to her anticipated disdain. You then got a message from the General about the combat AI project asking you to reconsider, which you did after asking for advice from Kevin and Babsy, despite not feeling ready. After finalizing it's design, you chose to inform Pandora of her future brother. She was thrilled until learning his purpose...

You awake to the harsh buzz of your alarm tired and drained, not getting much rest the previous night due to a whirl of emotions going through you after Pandora's harsh words. You feel awful, the idea of getting out of bed so unappealing to you you ponder the ramifications of simply going back to sleep. Obviously you can't, but the notion is enticing.
Your tears have since dried up, but the overwhelming sadness has not left you, redoubling itself when you realize you need to go see Pandora again for lessons today. You shudder at the thought. Mercifully, you...

Tell anons, what is your favorite alignment and why?
I, for one, really like to play Lawful Good, since I love Paladins, even though I ended falling a few times. All in fair play though, it was still some good experiences.
>>43991298
Chaotic Neutral, because it's what my character would do.
It's been awhile since I have had to use the alignment system but my all time favorite is Neutral Good.
I just want to help EVERYONE.
Current character is a true fortune teller whose bound by an Vow of Optimism... As well as an Oath of Truth.
>>43991298
I've always liked Lawful Good. These days, behaving with total moral clarity has become subversive and edgy, which makes it extra fun.
