Can Space Marines love, or at least love without falling to chaos? I've started to see them as a mix of ancient greek demi-gods who do everything to the superhuman extreme as befitting these superhuman gods of war, and the noble ideals of chivalry given they're basically supposed to be knights IN SPACE.
Yet Chaos is a very real things that consume people not dedicated to the Emperor, and there's a ton of hypno-conditioning for Space Marines. Would courtly love for someone like an Inquisitor or Rogue Trader, or maybe even a common human be ok/turn out ok...

A huge part about being a(n imperial) space marine is selflessness. They aren't knights in space. They're monks in space. And they spend 100% of their downtime isolated in their space monasteries practicing their craft.
It's not until a space marine falls that he can start indulging in selfish desires.

Obviously consider the chapster in question of the marine. A Blood Angel or Space Wolf would have a drastically different opinion on love and human relationships than say, an Imperial Fist.

Hell, I don't know if even Chaos Space Marines could love another or if it would become a twisted reflection of itself as the Marine inevitably falls further into the dark gods' grasp.
Could commoragh theoretically be destroyed by an exterminatus action like a virus bombing?
Given how much trouble the dark eldar cause, its a surpirse there havent been any such attempts by the ordo xenos.
Inb4 the webway: The salamanders successfully located a gate to a commoragh in m35 and caused massive damage, this proves it could be theoretically possible to locate an entrance.

Commorragh is not just one big city, but a realm sprawling through the webway, linked together via portals. And in general hard to describe, because we don't know a lot of it. It is divided into different sub-realms which, as far as I know, can be closed off.

This, I view it very similiar to Sigil in the Planescape setting. It is linked intricately to itself in more ways than any creature could count, because such it would be very easy to partion itself off incase of invasion or direct and indirect munitions.

trying to exploit the SHIT out of their relationship as a means of drawing the Space Marine towards Chaos. Also, the lifestyles of Space Marines are highly regimented and monastic, which rarely leaves room for forming romantic bonds. They're indoctrinated, from day one, to put the destruction of the Emperor's enemies (and MAYBE the defense of his people) as their foremost priority.

Your currenr party comes across the lost hoard of a long-dead dragon.
As you inspect the hoard, you don't find gold or jewelery, but a wide assortment of weapons, both familiar and new, and some of designs you have never seen before. Clearly the dragon was capable of traveling through time and space, and have collected its hoard of arms from many different dimensions and timelines.
Your party decides on grabbing two crates of strange weapons and little cartridges. The weapon crate have strange runic inscriptions that reads "Aвтoмaт Кaлaшникoвa",...

/tg/, what is it about being a hero that you, personally enjoy? I don't mean a vague hero, or an anti-hero, or just someone who does some good deeds. I mean traditional heroes, old fashion heroes, the kind of heroes who will wade through hell and high water, face the impossible odds, suffer horror and harm all to save a single soul, or to defend a thousand more.

Been kinda interested in it for a while, but I've heard some negative things about it here
As a relative newbie to SR, I enjoy it. The system is janky as fuck across all the various iterations, and takes a lot of work to handle, but as long as your GM and a decent amount of the group understand the rules it works fine.

It's about the same as 3.5/Pathfinder. There are easier systems to learn and use, but if you get everything down and play with reasonable people with common sense and over the age of 15, it's not nearly as bad as the haters make it out to be.

I have yet to find another system that handles firearms as competently.
