does anyone know how does Andy Stott gets his voices? are they sampled? are they "real singers"?
Where can I find the best drum sample packs?
How should I go about making my own drum sounds without any analog equipment?

Is there anything closer to selling out in "indie" than this?
Don't even hit me with "he's doing it ironically" bullshit, either. I expected Pitchfork to be this detached from the real world, but not Panda Bear.
:(
He was barely "indie" in the first place.

>selling out in "indie"
Is agreeing to do an interview "selling out?"
Why should we care about some bullshit "indie credibility?" Focus on the music, not irrelevant bullshit.
It's not like Domino is some fucking indie haven.
>>52640672
he was always sold out, the second you release an album to be bought and sold you sell out and are in it for the commercial gain.
So is this when we start pretending that Fashion Week is the best Death Grips release, just like you faggots did with Government plates
even though both are the worst and least Death Grip-like albums out of the whole discography, but its in /mu/s nature to favourite the lelsorandum albums of artists

>implying GP isn't actually their best release.
Stay pleb.
>>52638333
who cares man their shit is always heavy

not OP, but it really isn't, NotM expanded on that idea and topped it easily

Why does Loveless look and sound so ugly? Maybe because it looks ugly.
Up top is some Madonna from the early 90s. Down low is some Loveless. You tell me which tickles your eyes and ears more.
>>52621626
Since when is Borderline from the 90s?
>>52621626
At least loveless doesn't look like a brick.

>thinking a shoegaze album will have a pretty graph
You don't know a lot about frequency, I gather.
The new death grips was posted on reddit 4 months ago.

I saw this, the guy apparently got it during a brief moment Andy was updating a2b2.org
Trying to crack a2b2 may yield results after all
Bump 'cause it's interesting

someone do it
it's unanimous, right?
FW > GP >NOTM > LWDP > TMS > EM

TMS > NOTM > FW > GP > EP > ExM > NLDW
Hi /mu/. I'm trying to think of the most obscure possible media format to release my hip avant-garde 2deep4u music on. I've already excluded digital, cd, cassette, 8 track, 4 track, vinyl, minidisc, 3.5" floppy discs, and laser discs as too mainstream. I'm thinking about releasing it on BetaMax tapes or maybe 5 1/4" floppy discs or zip disks.
Can you think of any media formats that are more obscure and less mainstream/ relevant in 2015?
