What jap albums do you believe would go on the Japanese equivalent of mucore ?(chart of relatively obscure albums covering many genres, so no, not just shitty mathrock and poprock.)
>>52400881
Midori - Hello Everyone
Boris - Flood
the first Kyary album
Perfume - Game
probably some te', or Worlds End Girlfriend
that Kashiwaki Diesuke whatever album that always gets made fun of.
Nujabes - Modal Soul
What's the deal with these threads about Japanese music?
I don't think I've ever went and thought "gee, I sure could go for some Japanese music right now", the nationality of the artists I like has very little to do with why I appreciate their music. The fact that some of those artists are Japanese is something I barely take note of, since "Japanese music" isn't an actual genre.
Is it just some weeaboo thing?
Hellow.
I'm a traveler from the near future. I have access to Wikipedia archives from 2025-2050.

Checking out the evolution now, heard good stuff
What were your favorite electronic releases this year?
I've had a very non-active year in terms of checking out new music. I loved Syro, liked You're Dead and disliked Xen. So what else did you guys hear?
I can't remember what electronic albums I listened to that came out this year. Off the top of my head I can think of; Lauren Bousfield - Avalon Vales, Gazelle Twin - Unflesh, The Soft Pink Truth - Why Do the Heathen Rage, and Francis Harris - Minutes of Sleep. Of those Avalon Vales was probably my favorite.
>>52400962
And like a dumbass I just realized Avalon Vales came out in 2013, so my favorite would probably be Why do the Heathen Rage. Sorry about that.
I liked this album a lot, although it doesn't have much replay value. Silver has a gorgeous outro.
Is it just me or was 2013 far superior to 2014 in terms of electronic albums?
