"Electronic" can mean an anxious and overwhelming number of things. Is there anything you like that you can start with?
Otherwise like Boards of Canada or Strfkr, or like, Blockhead are like, three different branches you can work in from.
Use RYM. Download albums you find on RYM with Soulseek, a p2p program built by electronic music addicts. If you're looking for background electronic stuff, look into Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, The Orb, KLF, and Helios.

I mean desu there are probably tons of emulators all over bandcamp and soundcloud, it's just that pop/trap is a pretty niche sound and they have it down so well I'd imagine it's hard for other acts to get major traction.
