So I've decided to treat myself to a new pair of headphones this Christmas, but I'm torn between two pairs at the moment.
I've had a pair of AKG Q701's for about a year now, and I think that they're excellent, but I find them to be rather quiet, and they're cumbersome, yet in places, frail design makes me feel like I have to be careful with them at all times. This is where I come to an impasse; I have my eyes on a pair of K702's as a suitable upgrade, but I really don't want to deal with the same issues that I'm having with my current pair, which is why I'm considering getting myself a pair of Blue MoFi's. The problem with my second choice is that I don't have any experience with Blue. On a slightly different note, I might wait until after I get back from CES to buy a pair, because I might find something I really like there.
So, /mu/, what pair do you think I should get, AKG k702 or Blue MoFi? Or is there another pair that you absolutely swear by? I'd really appreciate some feedback.
