So I see Bleach has been getting a lot of love here recently which is great since it's easily the best of the three studio albums but let's not that forget that pretty much everything Kurt did pre-Nevermind is literally god-tier. Even the pre-Nirvana stuff like Illiteracy Will Prevail is absolutely flawless and a pleasure to listen to.

Do you use Spotify (or services like it)? I'm trying to figure out how it should be used. I'm thinking because I don't have unlimited data on my phone, I could use the offline play feature to find and keep songs that I like, and download them to my actual sd card later if I like them enough. Does anyone else use it in this way? Like a sort of music discovery app? I feel like using it as another library would trigger my autism because I'd have half my music in a different place.

One of their songs came on the radio the other day and I realized that it wasn't shit, just kind of run-of-the-mill alternative. And while that sucks I guess, it certainly wasn't OMG WORST BAND IN THE WORLD material. Plenty of average bands out there, what made everyone pick this one to hate?

The reason they aren't very good is not that they provide anything which is immediately offensively poor, it's quite the opposite. Their songs are so excessively safe and formulaic that they are almost muzak rather than music. The word is bland.
They have too many albums and I don't even know where to start!
