I always just acted kinda feminine, wouldn't call myself a flat-out flamer but I am effeminate. My mom would ask me if I was gay all the time when I was growing up, I'd get called a fag and such a lot, I didn't really figure out my sexuality until after high school though, kinda was in denial/just didn't put two and two together.

Main point I wanted to say was this: some flamers are clearly putting on an act for attention, but I do think some men just genuinely act effeminate, and typically don't have as exaggerated of a faggy voice. I'm okay with those, granted I am one. The obnoxious overly thick fake flamer accented ones are pretty bad though.
