You'd never get in so what's the point of asking this question?
>>
You want to be in the actual upper class? Yes.

West Point is a stepping stone. Nothing more.
>>
No.

Go to a REAL college. Drink away your weekends and fuck qt from class. Smoke bowls, sleep in sometimes.

THEN take your worthwhile degree and experiences and go to OCS or enlist if you actually want to do stuff.

Academy is for lifers who want to spend their careers sucking dick and kissing ass to end their career at WESTCOM VICEGEOPLAT SECRETARY having never set foot in the field for the last 12 years.

Anyone tried gunpowder mixed with cocaine(AKA "brown-brown)?
I'm considering breaking up a few shotgun shells this weekend to try it out, but I'm scared of side effects (like turning into a chimp and fighting a gorilla war) or lead poisoning. Apparently the nitroglycerin in the gunpowder acts as a vasodilator and gets you extra fun.

I will thanks!

>>29071951
Couldn't I just crush the shit out of it? Is there lot's of lead still in the pellets?

Why do people keep saying that the AMRAAM is a bad missile? Not necessarily on this site, but on other sites, people on other sites refer to the AIM-120 as though it were a joke that never hits the target. They say it has low pk. Is this true? Is America's air force built on a house of cards?

Dunno russians and euro's are still mad that they didn't invent the powered aircraft and whine for some kind of advantage to make they peepees feel special I guess.
>>
>>29071864
>They say it has low pk

Well it has the highest PK of any ARH BVR missile, so...

Missiles still kinda sucked even in the 80s, like the sparrow, but even in the 90s they got a lot better. I think the AIM-7 from the 90s had a PK of like 20 to 30%.

The AMRAAM is much, much better than that.

The newest models have enough delta V to hit bomber type targets out to about 100nm head on. This would give them a no escape zone of something like 10 to 30 nm. Couple that with modern AESAs that pretty much WONT drop the track, and the wizbang wizardry in the new AIM-120s guidance system, means its likely gonna fuck Ivan's shit up.

Nobody knows much about the red's stuff like R-77s because theyve never fired on in anger, but historically, their missiles suck. Not saying the new ones do, but I dont think an AA-10 has ever hit a target in combat.

Oh, but IR missiles are basically confirmed for GOAT, you are just so fucked if somebody fires one at you within perimeters.
>>
>>29071864
Because they keep comparing it to BVRAAMs that technically don't exist yet.

Why the fuck is it shaped like this?
Just to look cool or what?
I feel like it looks kind of try hard

I ain't no avionics engineer, but I'd assume they got some smart people together and made something with maximum stealth capabilities and maximum bombing capabilities the best/most efficient way they could.
>>
>>29071816
It's Northrop-Grumman. Flying wedges are their trademark.

I'm just confused by the fact that it looks just like a damn B-2. Now, I haven't read up much on the LRS-B requirements, but what the fuck is this going to do different than a B-2? Is it supposed to be bigger? I don't understand why you don't just put an emphasis on PGMs mounted on strike aircraft instead of bigger bombtrucks that will (most likely) get shot down or intercepted before they have the chance to reach target. I know stealth is supposed to counter that, but it's not infallible.
>>
You'll notice a falcon and a stealth bomber have similar profiles.

planes without a tail or vertical aileron have been considered unstable in flight until computers got fast enough to do the micro-corrections necessary to keep it stable and in-control.

Honey bees are mathematically unable to take flight, but they do every day. They just need really quick, and really small corrections to fly well.

;_; Is this even covered under warranty?

Can you freely discharge a firearm in your own home? Like if I had some bags of fucking dirt and didn't feel like driving to the range, could I just set up a target in my living room and open fire? It's my place, after all. What's the worst that could happen?

Your bubba backstop isn't sufficient or you miss and a round goes through wall into neighbors house and kills someone.

Also, if you're in city limits and not in the county I'm sure there's about a dozen permits you're gonna need to set up a legal indoor firing range.
>>
You typically cannot discharge a firearm within city limits in most areas.

Exceptions would be designated gun ranges, or in legal self-defense situations.

If your home is outside of city limits, go nuts.

Someone legit thought this could protect you from bullets

If you're so concerned about school shootings promise every parent a small portable bulletproof vest for the children occupying the classroom

I don't find it hard to believe that it can stop a bullet, but it can't stop the shooter just walking over and shooting the person beneath it around the sides.

Guys, we already know this. stop these threads already

/k/ do you conceal carry at work? Is it allowed? Do you ignore the rules?
Do you think that the most recent shooting will cause both panic buying and a substantial push for legislation?
Do you have a separate conceal carry for work? Maybe a smaller handgun?

>Do you ignore the rules?
You should.
>Do you think that the most recent shooting will cause both panic buying and a substantial push for legislation?

If you buy in bulk, you literally do not have to worry about stupid shit like panic buying and actually enjoy shooting as a hobby. And no, it won't do shit. No need to get riled up every single time some sperg shoots someone.
>>
>>29068829
If its illegal to carry in your workplace no, if its company policy to disarm employees onsite thats up to you, if it's "suggested" that you dont conceal then fuck 'em and do it. My problem is if you don't have armed security staff why also ban concealment for employees. Wish more employers would put this infor, ation in the fine print of job applications
>>
I'm not even supposed to carry a knife at work let alone a gun.
