ITT: Concealed carry solutions for countries where firearms aren't legal to carry.
Bought this "Police Security" tactical flashlight the other day, feels very solid. Good strike bezels, nicely balanced, 230 Lumens on high. Made the holster myself and sewed it into my jacket.
how's the draw speed?
>>29360286
>230 Lumens on high
Pleb.
>>29360299
It's a little sluggish right now, this holster is a prototype so I'm learning quickly what the issues are. First thing is that the velcro strap at the top can be annoying to undo, and it sticks to my hoodie a bit underneath. Also, the bottom section of the holster is a little too long and the bezel gets caught a little bit.
Sup /k/. Gay sissy liberal here. But I support gun rights. Is there any blue state that has concealed carry?
Maine has constitutional carry.

Do you have small hands that limit you to a single stack .380ACP?
/Kommandos/, I bring you 100% OC today. I scanned an old war photo album found in storage. I know this is the "weapons" board and all, and that's why I'm telling you this. Some of the photos contain closeup shots of the planes and the pinup girls painted on them. Oh and there's an ammo depot in there, too.

that's pretty cool anon. pls share some here

I would have normally but the file size of each is over 4MB. To share them I'd have to individually scale them down and then you'd be losing the fine details in the background like writing or decals. I hope you all enjoy them, though.
How do I download the whole bunch of 'em? I always loved wartime pin-ups.
Hello /k/,
I just got my concealed carry license, and I wanted to see what you guys use on the daily. Could you answer these questions? Also, CCW thread.
1. What firearm do you currently carry?
2. What is the caliber, and what is the magazine capacity?
3. What holster do you use? And how do you use it? (IWB, shoulder, ankle, etc)
4. What do you like and dislike about your current setup? Is it comfortable?
5. Are there any problems or mistakes you've made in the past that you wish to share? (for example, an incident where you printed, or a shitty brand of holster that you wish you hadn't bought)
tokarev or nothin
>>29358828
1. Tokarev TT-33
2. 8+1 of 7.62x25
3. Shoulder holster
4. Comfy and conceals well, but not the fastest to draw from and the Tok is far from an ideal carry pistol.
5.Dropped my Tok in a Tim Hortons and somehow nobody noticed, or I'd have daily anal reaming sessions by my cellmate.
I have a 9mm shield with the 8 round mag.
I just started carrying so I have not messed up yet.
so i purchased an Intratec Tec-9.
anyone on /k/ own one and have modified it? sure would love to put a collapsible stock on it or any optic but it doesnt look like it lends itself easily to either.
>>29358775
>sure would love to put a collapsible stock on it
>>29358775
Assuming you aren't a troll if you put a stock on it then it becomes an NFL item, same goes if you put a vertical foreground on it.
Just leave it as is and enjoy your new range toy.
>>29358842
no im not trolling. i understand that more than one vertical grip on a pistol puts you under nfa but i wasnt aware of adding a buttstock...
arent there AR builds that qualify as pistols but have a wire stock?

>Japan has already committed to buying 42 Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. But that aircraft's perceived shortcomings in air-to-air combat and the United States' refusal to sell its Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor have encouraged Japan to consider a domestic-led program to replace its fleet of aging Boeing F-15J warplanes.

what are some good weapons handling videos that you could study to make people move more appropriately on film, just need a few to get me in the right direction.
Like what are some realistic covering tactics? When to have trigger discipline and when to have the finger inside the trigger guard?
What about like when to switch to pistols, or flanking?
I know of these concepts but nothing that's explanatory.

They use special ammo to get the flash, if they don't just cgi it which is more common these days. What's correct is rarely what looks cool and I don't really care about "realism" so much as that they stop doing stupid shit.
For example i was watching Daredevil season 2 and the punisher character shields himself from bullets with what appears to be a price of wood. That's the kind of shit that ruins the scene. Meanwhile some move like >>29355524...

Why is CIWS considered insufficient to defend warships?
>>29355473
It's just considered very very last ditch after everything else.
>>29355473
It just isn't as accurate or as consistent at destroying missiles as would be ideal for a system designed to defend hundreds of people.
>>29355473
As for why? I don't know. Perhaps the technology on most CIWSs are/is old. Hitting something like a supersonic missile is hard for a gun to do. We might see more powerful lasers take its place.
Hey, anons serving/having served in armed forces: what was the place of semi-auto versus burst/auto fire in the combat doctrine taught to you?
Conscriptboo here.
Generally full auto is for clearing out trenches and indoors, never saw that other than on paper, spent all my time on forest.
In my case in small long range recon patrols full auto was used to burn through mags when surprised or detected by enemy so they would think they ran into a bigger enemy troops than they really had and us few guys would have more time to pack our stuff and haul ass out of there.
Pretty much there was only two modes, never fire and just observe or go full retard and run away.

U.s. Army Infantry fag here
Semi
>for everyday use
> mostly accurate fire while machine guns make most of the covering fire
>great for CQB, put every round right where I want it
Burst
>redheaded step child
>more common than full auto, less useful than everything

Bundeswehr fag here
We use autofire almost never. Maybe dump a mag arround the corner before entering a room. Or when someone is really in your face. Other than that its quick semiauto only most of the time 2 in a row. So you have one accurate hit and the second one immediatly behind it still on target but not in the same place so you have more stopping power. Full auto is for retards that cant aim. You gonna waste alot of usefull ammo when fullautoing. Its rarely used also when your lmg cant fire, so someones taking his role and lays down fire but thats it.Comment too long. Finally shot my LC9s for the first time today, never fired a non-22lr pistol, never been to a public range. Had a couple issues.
>consistently shot too low
>carved up my thumb with the nail on my trigger finger.
>pistol felt like it was going to jump out of my hand every shot
>sometimes the slide locked back with rounds still in the mag (Winchester Train and Federal 124gr)
Obviously I'm holding it wrong, so where do I put my hands?

It's pretty shit for a beginner's pistol, but here goes.
aim higher
trim your nails or move your thumb down
just make sure you have a good grip on it- small pistols like this aren't comfortable, especially the LC9s
make sure you're not pushing the slide stop up with your grip
It should be fine to go without cleaning after 150 rounds. 500 rounds would be fine, maybe even cautious just so long as the fouling isn't causing malfunctions. Clean until you can't get more carbon out, then oil. May as well do the job right while you're in there.
I try to bring at least 300 rounds of 9mm for a few hours on the range.
Nobody can tell you how to hold it.
There is a jerry miculek video on youtube though. Just for starters.
You probably had your finger on thr slide lock.
I usualy take 100 rounds for a pistol day.
>>29348540
Gotta keep them nails short. A lot of handguns will do that.
Subcompacts are emergency guns, they don't handle well and are difficult to be accurate with. That's just inherent with the size. If performance is what you want go with a compact. But honestly a sub is probably all you'll need unless you expect to get into legit gunfights. Anyone that's a serious threat is likely going to be within 10-15 feet, and if it's multiple assailants they tend to scatter when a shot rings out....

What's with you people and muzzle sweeping it's not a big deal (in mosts green texts I've seen its an unloaded gun) and you people rage so hard because of it
