I can't find any information that this P226 edition ever existed, it is most definitely not the Blackwater edition, the logo is completely different. Since it was made in Germany the seller told me that Sig USA couldn't tell him anything about it.
Can anyone confirm the sellers story that this was issued to a Blackwater operator?

I thought that the military required you to hydrate yourself frequently enough to make it easy for you to pass MREs.
The only thing that could cause constipation like that would be medicine.
I've suspected they secretly mediate troops or use them to test covert pharmaceuticals...
Never had any evidence aside from the legendary MRE shits.

but no hydrating yourself is an uphill battle when you sweat just as fast as you can force water into yourself. Most soldiers and marines are indeed taking meds like pain relievers or the like. You CAN prevent MRE shits by drinking a fuck ton of water and not holding it in for days on end but thats easier said than done

What are historic guns like as an investment?
Say a genuine Nazi Luger with SS markings or something.
Most don't gain value.
Full autos are decent but take decades to be worthwhile to sell. Even then something could change which makes them worthless. Things like opening the registry or a total ban would wipe out value.
Unique historic guns are expensive as fuck and take decades to be worth selling. Your run of the mill German Luger with matching numbers, wooden mag, holster, bring back papers, etc are only going to be worth money if they were taken from someone noteworthy.
You can buy a bunch of AR lowers for $50 a piece and bet on an AWB that allows transfers on grandfathered guns, but that is a long shot. Could net you 400%, but also you could end up with 100 non-transferrable lowers.

I know nothing about guns IRL, but when I GM Dark Heresy 2, I try to simulate the dangers a gun poses to the user in terms of noise and muzzle flash. How realistic is it that a weapon would blind the guy using it or impair his hearing?

I can't hit a goddamn thing with most polymer pistols. I don't seem to have this issue with steel/metal frame guns. I'm no marksman by any means, but I'm not even on paper at 7 yards with a USP9c.
Some backstory:
First gun was a Sig P320c, and I was decent with it, especially for being newguns. Second gun was HK P2000SK, I could shoot with it but ended up trading it in for CZ 75B because I didn't like it all that much; short grip and it was in .40, so yeah.
CZ is a tack driver. Love it. Become Czechnology whore, eventually buy 2 more CZ's (P-01 and RAMI), love them all.
Go back to P320, can't hit shit. Not so much getting groups, more a handful of individuals, if I'm lucky. Eventually sell P320.
Pick up S&W 5906, some tweaking to bring up the rear sight and I'm doing great.
Pick up a USP9c, can't hit paper. Shoot buddy's P2000 (full), can't hit paper. Noguns friend that came to range with us is stacking tacks with both. Buddy also has PPQ, did alright with it after some major aim adjusting, same with a Canik TP9, but I started out hitting low.
That's the common thread: I'm almost always low, like...severe low, but my grip and aim and stance and all that aren't changing, that I can tell. Even on polymer guns I used to be ok with, couldn't hit shit when I went back to them after changing over to shooting mostly steel guns.
