I'm building a SHTF/ TEOTWAWKI kit and I'm not sure what I need for bare bones. I have a long gun and sidearm with ammo for both, good boots and clothing, and a basic pocket survival kit. What else do I need?
Also, what setup should I run? Battle belt, chest rig, or all in a pack?

Go Hiking with your gear OP. Go hiking for a cool 4 hours or so and see what you need.
Water, water filtration, element protection. Most importantly it'll show you why physical fitness will be more useful than your "pocket survival kit". If you say thats an altoids tin, just throw it out now.
