it uses a metalo squish block in the bullet box holder locked in with some non butterknifable screws

There is a block that gets inserted into the magwell first. That block is what holds the smaller mag in place.
Look up 9mm ar magwell adapter. It should come up.

I loved season one, just couldn't stomach it shortly into season two and had to quit watching. Pretty disappointing to be honest since I held the first season in such high regard.

They probably already own a .308 and make more than minimum wage, so the cost isn't that big of a deal.

Laser thread, /k/?

Let's face it: militaries aren't going to use anti-personnel laser weapons openly because any laser weapon powerful enough to cook someone will also blind them millions of times over, which is illegal under the Geneva convention.

That said, for "just" $400, you can already buy 3500 mW pointer which, if somehow attached to your rifle, will massacre your enemies' retinas at 100 - 200m without having to properly aim. It's already far more powerful than needed to permanently blind them. And all of this is before you actually shoot them.

There's no real defense against blinding lasers. Anything that uses light to navigate is in danger, as camera CCDs can be destroyed in a similar way to human retinas. The standard eye protection for lasers is a pair of goggles that will block out the most significant wavelength of the exact laser in use. Unfortunately, the more wavelengths you block, the less light you see. It's even possible to trick people into looking into a laser by exploiting the attention reflex, using a lower-energy torch to grab their attention before blinding them forever.

Not that you should actually try this, of course. It's illegal, irresponsible and unethical. That said, if shit goes down and you feel like flouting international law, lasers are a bit more discriminate than chemical weapons.

The defence against blinding lasers is having the world turn against you for blatant warcrimes.

Much like widespread deployment of warcrimes, the effect is probably less severe than being on the top of everyone's shitlist pretty much permanently.

Primary Arms Prism scope if you want a cheap ACOG style optic
You could also try the 1-6x optics that are getting popular like the Vortex Strike Eagle or PAPS1-6X

Hey /k/, bit of a dilemma here.

A friend of a friend sold me a new S&W Mp40 for pretty cheap after he heard I was looking for something I could use as both a cc and a home defender. I was nogunz and am still a poorfag so I didn't turn it down.

Problem is I'm unsure if an mp40 would be good for either. It seems like a fence-sitter since it's kinda big for a cc and I have no idea if .40 has good stopping power. Watching gel tests on jewtube only tells so much.

Tl;dr Got an S&W MP40 for cheap but I'm not sure if it would be good for cc or home defense. I know it's better than nothing but still.

That is a dilemma.
>>
>>29480210
Its fine, anon. Don't listen to these /k/ommandos who only use H&K or SIG. I don't see why a .40 is something to sneeze at for home defense or CC. Save up and buy something that you like more that fits both roles. Until then be happy you have something.
>>
>>29480210
Bro it's a .40 handgun, if you shot an intruder in the midsection a few times they would stop attacking and die.

As far as CC just play dress up and see how it feels and looks.

Wouldn't bullup be the next step in evolution of guns? But still M16 and AK47 are the most used.

Yes

>But still M16 and AK47 are the most used.
They have been around for longer and are generally cheaper.

>Any reason why bullpup isn't the norm?
Apart from the above some arent ambidextrous but the mayor issue is who makes them because most countries insist on handing out contracts only to companies within the country. On top of that countries like the US dont even want to adopt foreign designs which as far as I know all bullpups are.

As soon as they are priced resonably only trigger nazis will reject them.
