I recently purchased a trade-in Glock brand Glock, however with all trade-ins I'm anticipating some wear and tear.
What should I do about cosmetic issues like holster wear and light scratches? Are they something that can be buffed out or will o have to get a new slide? Can't complain because it was a sweet deal.
Also any tips on maintenance or what to look out for on LE trade-ins?

The finish is worn. It would need to be refinished to fix.
The only thing you should worry about is functionality.
Since it's a LEO trade it's likely been shot infrequently.

Hey /k/, UK here. O wamted to get some innawoods gear and there's some stuff that I want to ask /out/ about, but I also wanted to ask you about knives, possibly a kukri and a leatherman. If you're getting a leatherman and your budget is £110, go for a Wave and save a bit for the Kukri and clothing. If you have no specific tasks for it they make for a decent all round bit of kit.
Kukris - army surplus if you can find them. Solid bits of kit, just need a bit of care.
