What kind of optic would /k/ put on his/her sks?
>inb4 "Just leave it with irons bro"
SKSes aren't accurate enough to warrant a scope. If you need optics, you need a different rifle.
>>29991031
Yes they are. I'm not an SKS-fag. I'm just stating the facts.
>>29991031
eat a dick.
>>29990982
I'm going to get a brass stacker mount and go with some kind of long eye relief scope eventually. That's for the milsurp models, the ones norinco manufactured for the US market later have a different layout which those aren't compatible with. But I'm sure you're less worried about bubbafying something that isn't C&R.
Does anyone here carry a PPK? Is it worth it?
>>29990757
I used to carry one, but I now carry a Ruger LCP.
>>29990778
You might as well have said that you used to be cool, but then you turned into a faggot.
STRATFOR says ATF agents are: "Rednecks with a license to kill. Never ever ask for their help on anything."
>>29990756
Well, aren't they? Their track record seems to consist of burning people alive, killing more dogs than the Chinese and in general being incompetent fuckwits.
>>29990756

Alright /k/ I have plenty of time to listen to music at work in Earbuds. Looking for any suggestions on music or much better, suggestions on/k/related podcasts.
>>29990742
I loved me some Johnny Cash. Not much feels more baller than listening to 'The Man Comes Around' while sitting in an open side helicopter and looking at the world through NODs.
>>29990760
Johnny cash is great, my favorite is "General Lee"
/k/ people I can think of:
CCR
Ozzy Ozbourne
Johnny cash
Alice in Chains
Practically anything during Vietnam and AiC

I like Jesus Walks for nostalgia reasons. Yes, because of that stupid movie.
I'll go first: France

I'm new to guns, /k/. I'll admit that right off the bat. My cousin invited me deer hunting, and I don't have a suitable deer rifle. What calibers do you guys recommend? Any good rifles that won't break the bank? I'm willing to spend around 500-600 on the rifle.
>pic completely unrelated.
Savage axis in .308
>>29990640
Savage axis in 308 with optic combo. Should be around $400-$500. If that fails the ruger american in 308 offers a similar combo for a similar standpoint.
30-06 is also acceptable but there really isnt an advantage in one way or the other.
Ask if you can shoot his, buy a good pair of boots and a pair of binos. Buy a cheap rifle in .223/5.56 with a decent scope. You'll probably have to spit the money between scope and rifle.

Some concepts shown in previous arms-shows.
Basically; SOSUS + long range ASW missile launchers at the shore + traditional ASW assets.
>>29990374
And also, undersea automatic turrets launching torpedos against detected hostiles.
>>29990400
One of such ASW-MRLS was already shown.
These would be perfect for China's new artificial islands.

What are your thoughts on the Colt 1908 and the .25 ACP cartridge? I recently bought one kinda on impulse as it was a really good price. I got it primarily as a collectible, but just wanted to know /k/'s thoughts on its practical usefulness overall.
So, is .25 ACP still relevant or useful in comparison to other option out today? Does a tiny .25 ACP handgun still have a useful place today?
I'm ashamed to say I'm waiting for an elderly relative to die so I can get his.
>>29990107
I have one. It's one of the four Browning-designed pistols I still own. It's very fun to shoot. Even though the sights are barely there, if you can see them, you can hit bullseyes at surprising distances. I don't think it would be an effective carry gun caliber, but I have carried it as a backup for fun sometimes. It's very classy. Very small and light gun too. Aside from the width of the grip, it's smaller than the Ruger LCP.
Just use caution when buying a used gun. Back in the time...

>.25 ACP cartridge
less energy than a 22 lr.
But no one uses it as a defensive round anymore.
Its something you buy and use because its cool.
Purse pistol?

Why do you fight, /k/? Pic somewhat related
>>29990062
i hunt the skinwalkers at night so pussies like you can leave the city and go on day walks in the forest safely.
To ask why we fight is to ask why the leaves fall. It is in their nature. Perhaps, there is a better question.
Why do we fight? To protect Home, and Family. To preserve Balance, and bring Harmony.
The true question is:
What is worth fighting for?
>>29990062
to win the war
So, say WW3 happens, and it is somehow, non-nuclear.
Could the US' industry (coal mining, foundries, factories, etc) produce enough to keep us from getting BTFO? I know the US has large stockpiles of equipment, but we would still need new shit. Rifles, ammo, survival rations, all of that.
US industry hasn't been doing so hot as of late, so could we survive?
Would we have mass metal collection and rationing like WW2?
Nobody ever talks about this yet it is fundamental to surviving and winning a global scale war.
shit
America has enough raw material for it to be more-or-less self-sufficient.
The only reason it isn't is because of a bunch of globalist libtards would rather us sell all our coal to China and buy all of our oil from Saudi Arabia than exploit domestic reserves.
>>29989895
American isn't a manufacturing economy anymore, our economy consists of, the buying and selling of debt and consuming the products of starbuck/walmart/apple
>YFW .40 S&W has more power and higher capacity than .45 ACP
You feel like a big man? Huh? A big man?
Well you have a gun full of tuna can cocks.
Even 9mm hits harder than .45 ACP.
