does anyone else tend to choose gun based on how they look and not how they operate, or am I the only one?
>>30179332
your post was really shitty
My dad is like that, he only buys guns he thinks are sexy.
I don't share that opinion and hence have a wider selection of guns. My Glock 34 is ugly, but he still shot it during pistol league. Kept the AccuShadow for myself.

Has there been any word from the /k/ lads who said they were going to help the Kurds?
>>30179321
I hate to say it but they probably died
>>30179321
I hope they died, the Kurds will be the cause of the next big conflict in the middle east
>>30179321
Probably sobered up and went back to eating hot pockets and watching hentai.
Can this thing be used in no carry states? Is this thing even legal in US?
>>30179270
Why not just use a can of pepper spray?
>>30179270
I had a mace brand pepper spray gun, it was an utter piece of shit that was too weak to stop a dog and leaked nonstop so touching it or anything it touched and touching your sensitive bits was extremely painful.
Better and cheaper to buy a $5 can of spray and save up for a pistol.
>>30179324
This thing has longer range and no restriction for usage inside. Usual spray will make room uninhabitable for a while.

This shit isn't new. The Future Combat Systems program in 2003 already had a vehicle with these capabilities, but the funding was stripped.
What was /k/'s first rifle? Do you still have it?
>>30179195
>Do you still have it?
>implying I would ever sell my guns

Well that was an older style, he has slightly improved in drswing recently
If the US had never entered WW1 or otherwise assisted the Allies, would they still have won?
Yes but it would've taken about another year or so.
Yes, its not even close. The only remaining Central Power was Germany, and they were facing literal starvation. A few thousand people per month due to the blockade.
No, and Israel would never had been created.
Lets talk /k/ related movies and tv shows.
What did you guys make of this?
>>30179030
some parts/details were annoying but I liked it, would and will watch again
i liked how it gave off the feeling of that you were observing the battle, not just different camera angle cuts
>>30179030
good flick, pretty faithful to the book

I think it portrayed the sense of being generally lost and having no idea what the fuck is going on around you rather convincingly.
>those dudes jumping out of the bush
>captain america dude
>part where they are flanking the estate and they see like 20 dudes with AKs and they have no idea if they are friendly or not
Does anyone else instinctively TD with non-firearms?
i had a nd with some windex last month. could hear my neighbors talking about it so i've been staying inside.

If it has a trigger I always exercise it.

Ye, I literally can't do anything else.
>using stick I grabbed as a walking stick
>slight bulge where hands are comfy
>finger out max TD the whole time
Fuck why can't I be normal again
Why did Germany lose the Battle of Jutland and why was the British admiral reviled by the British public despite the fact that he won?
>>30178873
British victory was more good luck than good management. While the Germans were beaten back to their ports, they inflicted much more damage on the British than they incurred. There were significant inadequacies in British doctrine (e.g. a Nelsonian obsession with rate-of-fire which left magazine hatches open to shove shells through faster, with the inevitable result of entire ships being blown to smithereens) which contributed to the level of damage suffered too.

Interesting.

Generally German ships had much more compartments and overall better protection. So while Royal Navy ships were blown sky-high when hit, the Seydlitz managed to sail back home even though being nearly destroyed.
I'm looking for a small concealed carry pistol. I was thinking of the Ruger LC9 with a belt clip.
Seems small enough and easy enough to carry. That, and I already own a couple 9mm's so i wouldn't need to get a new type of ammunition.
What does /k/ think?
>>30178769
Let me shit on that opinion real quick son. You're gonna get raped and your gonna learn to like it with how often it'll happen when you own that gun, it'll fail at the most needed time everytime. Get a real man weapon, like a 1911 dweeb
I bet you're from California, faggot.

Thank you for this delicious new copypasta.

What's the best '''''''''''takedown''''''''''' rifle?
I want to pretend I'm a survivalist or james bond or something.
The actual best depends on need.
-James Bond
AR-7
-Versatility
12 ga or 20 ga or .410 shotgun barrel with .22 barrel, in an over/under configuration.
-Usefulness
10-22 takedown with bx25s
>>30179001
I've heard bad things about the AR-7
Apparently it starts to rattle a bit after 2000 rounds or so.
>>30178642
Modern Henry brand AR-7
AR-15 if you separate the lowers.
10/22 TakeDown
How did japshit infantry do against burger infantry in WWII?
They lost

Rekt until we keked. They estimated 100,000 Marines would die if we took them conventionally, so we barbequed them to save American lives.
Plus: It was nevva been dun b4

I don't see it discussed often and this is an attempt to change that. I'm a recent newcomer to the world of amazing Swedish Mausers, and I'm positively blown away by the workmanship.
Question for those in the know: I have an opportunity to acquire a mint arsenal rebuild from 1967 with an immaculate bore and a GF diopter sight. All matching, perfect stock. Price doesn't concern me but I'm worried about the receiver, it's from 1901. I know it's perfectly normal for swedes to make a new rifle using an old receiver, but could there be any issues...

I'm buying it to use it for shooting not a safe queen, I shoot all my guns even rare ones.
>>30178584
No, so long as you are retarded it'll be fine.
Probably nothing to worry about, I still shoot a Colt 1911 from 1914.
