Not him,but Project Reality fan for 5 years here. Compared to ACE, it doesn't have the same level of detail, or the cool bit about radios, but the teamplay and immersion is amazing, it's very streamlined and you have quite a few factions and players. It's also a lot easier to play a quick game and there's a great community.

Revlolvers can be fired from inside the pocket. Sem. Auto Pistols mostly not, because the slide can't move/The spent cartridge can't be properly ejected.

The technology mostly exists. The parts least developed are the Enclosed weapons pod and the engine, there are probably functioning prototypes for the engine but not the pod. Funding has gone into the conformal fuel tanks and Australia has already said they want them. Avionics and radar upgrades are ready to be rolled out. IRST is already coming, what's left to learn is how comprehensive the IRST coverage is, 360 degrees might be on offer if you look at the program pictures. We will probably find out when details start to emerge on block two of the IRST.
I hope they go for internal IRST but the timing and block 1 of the IRST makes me think they may put it on the conformal fuel tanks.
