Alright /k/, enough is enough. I've held out long enough from buying a gun, but now the time has come. The world is going to shit, it's better now than later
I'm in the market for a handgun and rifle. I love Sig's and grew quite fond of the
Sig P238 and P938
Pros/Cons of either? Shot with them both extensively, love them (the 238 having a slight edge due to how compact and discreet it is

Have had hands on time with all of them, also pros/cons from your experience would be appreciated. My local store has them all and for pretty good prices.
For the rifle, I'd go with a SCAR-17. .308 is a better cartridge all-around and is more accurate at range. Plus you've got a million and one loads for it--everything from foreign military surplus to match grade. For a handgun, there's really a million options. I'd personally go with a Glock 26 but that's because the Glock's magazine is so common.
Aside from that, I'd suggest purchasing a few AR stripped lowers. Or some 80% lowers if you want to learn about milling. Maybe invest in some machining tools too. Being able to finish an 80% paperweight would be a great way to avoid the radar. You can then build AR's, AK's, 1911's, Glock's, 10/22's, and more from off-the-shelf parts.

Not worth it for a bolt action. If rate of fire could be obtained it wouldn't be a bad idea to have massive spread. But if you are taking the time to operate the bolt the. Su /k/, LEO here looking for a new handgun for duty. Im about to finish my probationary period and then I'll be able to qualify with my own personal handgun and get rid of the shitty Glock 22 I got issued. My only personally owned handgun is a Sig tacops 1911, but the department doesn't let us carry 1911's or revolvers. Looking at getting a new handgun, anyone got suggestions? Been eyeballing a USP in 9mm with an LEM trigger and some of those 18 round mags. Rumor has it though we're switching to gen 4 Glock 17's in a few months though, should I just stick with that?

I have an AR with a carbine length gas system. My understanding is that in general, carbines are over gassed. Does anyone have any experience with the Seekins precision adj. gas block? I like what I've read about the JP blocks, but they're twice the price. If it's worth it, then I'll go that route, but waste not, want not. 4choad won't let me use the pic I have of the gas block, so pic not related

Also like the other guy said, study your buffer weights and spring weights, come up with a combination that works for your AR.
Also, check a AR ejection diagram that will show you based off of the degree of your case ejection if your gun is over or under-gassed

I thought about it, but it seems like a half measure. Also, in case of fouling it'd be nice to be able to turn the gas up. And for speed shooting it seems like it would reduce time to get back on target.
Good day, /k/omrades. Today you get to see a weapon I made a few months ago out of boredom. It's a thin boat anchor bolted/taped to an axe handle. It can take down a door in less than 5 swings at MOST.

Ok so there have been lots of calls for gun control in the United states, not just recently but for years. These range from all out gun bans to simple psychological evaluations and basic weapons training.

Get whatever the hell you want. Type 56 are good build. If the stock is beat just know it can be replaced real fucking cheap. Make a big deal about it being beat and shave off a couple bucks. If you know how to wood they get as cheap as $25.
