So with all these 80 lowers out there I'm curious has anyone read or heard anything about casting one? I was thinking maybe buying an 80 lower that has been casted then coating it in a few layers of wax to create the mold. I would use the trial an error method to get the right size and when I do I would make a more permanent mold that I could reuse over and over.

what's the point where making them isn't worth it though? you have anderson lowers at $50 on sale already. 80% aluminum lowers are $35-45 at cheapest
the clark county commission just voted to adopt a califorania-style handgun roster. Anyone with off-list guns will have to pay a $50 tax every five years, which will use the new state database instead of the old blue cards. I'm on the hook for $500 in taxes as a result.

im pretty sure the assailant was convicted, but there is precedent about neutralizing the threat. it just depends on your jurisdictions laws; some places authorize the use of deadly force, others only allow the victim...

Could a weapon still work properly and for long periods if there was a certain amount of oxygen in the air?
Say there was double the amount of oxygen in the air than what there was theorized back in the age of the dinosaurs.
I assume it would be similar to pic related where the explosive force behind the gun was too powerful.

Muzzle flashes would be bigger and carbon fouling might decrease since more powder would combust completely. Not sure if metals in the gun would see adverse effects from potentially getting briefly super-heated in a pure oxygen environment (metals will burn if its hot or oxygenated enough).
