I have a problem /k/,
I come from South Dakota and am 100% from the Lakota tribe. My ancestors run back many generations, my family even has pre-Anglo relics.
My family and my people love guns, I've been shooting since I was 5 and we have a giant vault room with over 100 rifles, handguns, and shotguns, even 19th century lever action rifles.
But things changed when I moved to Texas when I got accepted to UT Dallas for post grad. I brought some guns from home, and would go to the range and never liked my experiences there. I always got stares from all the white people, some asked if I was middle eastern, some asked if I was from ISIS, and a lot gave me the cold shoulder. Thought it could have been this one range but every gun shop or range I went to I felt like I was either looked down upon or judged based on the color of my skin.
I like the second things they do, we probably had similar experiences with firearms like hunting and shit, but they treated me like shit cause I'm not white.
People always told me that gun culture was a white club, but I didn't believe it. What the fuck /k/? My people have been killed off, we have had our rigets then away, we have been disarmed, our past is what white people are afraid of now.
Why all the hate /k/?

> look like a derka
> get weird looks at the range
Just wear a head dress and carry a tomahawk to avoid confusion.

Its sad, but on the other hand, you couldn't have know you were moving to such a shit part of the state. Dallas is the most right-wing part of Texas, and they take their conservatism to extremes. See if you can get into a school in Austin or Houston or San Antonio, where people don't have their heads stuck up their asses.
Is sending soldiers "care packages" filled with gay porn and dildos treason?
>>30431507
Nope.
You just armed servicemen with shitloads of pranks&antics-material.
>>30431507
I guess they could trade them to someone who's into that.
>>30431532
This.
People are shooting at them, they're not going to start crying like a tumblr feminist.
you are stuck in a mass shooting situation of your choice, be it a mall, office building, school, whatever
the catch is you only have your most impractical weapon that you own to defend yourself
do you stand a chance and what is you plan?

I'm fucked no matter what
Either a paintball gun or a leatherman.

Im probably fucked.
Do Glocks have any negatives, if you get a drop-in trigger kit and some metal sights?
>>30430880
You'll be made fun of for owning a glawknade. Other than that they're fine.
>>30430880
Guaranteed replies: the thread.
They're great pistols. Reliable and affordable. Don't like em? Don't buy one.
>>30430880
>made of plastic
>gross striker trigger (kind of redundant)
>subpar but not offensive ergonomics
>generally overpriced for what it is if new
Other then that, fine guns. nothing really wrong with them. aftermarket is hella abundant and mags are cheap (and made of plastic, gross!) They're just a lot less unique these days. In a sea of striker fired polymer frames, they fail to stand out with anything other then their brand.
Favorite aircraft of WWII.
It's the F4U Corsair for me.
I like the F4U, the P-38, the B-17, and the Catalina.

Good taste
Anyone in GA know a good spot in the national forest to shoot at that's secluded. I want to host a meet up there since the north GA boys never get one close. Could do a range but just going deep innawoods sounds more fun.
>>30430597
Private land is what you're looking for.
>>30430612
My grand father has some private land, but he wasn't keen about the idea of 10+ autists with guns from the internet showing up and shooting shit
I don't believe you can just jump out of your shitbox in a WMA and go off shooting in the woods.
There is a range though.

What now? How is Burgerfat now explaining their unprofessional and unsafe behavior?
>>30430408
What an asshole. That being said, Russia and China do this shit to our ships and planes all the time, so its hard for me to care too much.
>>30430408
payback for their flyby
americans always do it bigger
>>30430408
Payback.
Broke my gun dryfiring it. Fucking trigger return spring snapped. Again, except this time the guns out of warranty and ive got to pay to replace it. Shits only got a roughly 7k roundcount yet parts keeps wearing out like the recoil spring and extractor. Nato spec my ass.
Surprisingly the slidestop hasnt shit itself yet even though its supposed to go first.
Bitching about guns thread go.
Shit isn't indestructable, yo. Deal with it.

I enjoy that people keep falling for the "NATO testing" meme when the website that people always like to link clearly says that the P-01 testing was for the Czech police and had nothing to do with the NSN it received.
What is the best Interceptor and why is it the English Electric Lightning?
The Tornado F.2 is fully the equal of the F-15C, and the GR.4 of the F-15E.

Because you're a bongoloid.

Because your nationality leaves you extremely biased.
Would you?
I would fire a gun before

She is a racist, sexist and a fascist so no I would not teach her how to use guns.

I would nail that ass like it was Jesus.
I'm reading the book "Red Platoon" by Clinton Romesha - a former cav scout who was awarded the Medal of Honor at COP Keating and something just IS NOT right with this book. Here, I'll post some excerpts:
First one:
Talking about someone showing up late to formation, being given a heavy stick to carry
> ""from now on, you will carry this stick with you everywhere you go." With that, we all headed off on a fifteen mile training run"
(P.44 para. 3)
Okay here's number 2
While talking about a morning PT session, after proclaiming that the E-5 running PT the next morning drank 15 beers the night prior -
>"...then he'd reappear at 6 a.m. And announce that even though we'd won our last football game against blue platoon, we hadn't won by enough points, do everyone was going to do a twenty-mile warm up run and spend the rest of the morning doing uphill wind sprints until at least half of us puked"
(p.47, para. 4)
>twenty mile warm up run
>twenty mile
>warm up
This is talking about a fucking regular army platoon of Cav scouts. The first time I figured - hey, the guys been out of the military a little bit, maybe he forgot some things - maybe it was really a ruck march. But there no excuse for this flat out bullshit. A 20 mile run is almost a marathon.
Are you fucking kidding me? Let me guess, his dick is 10 inches too.
It nvalidates the entire book for me. It's similar to before I went to basic when I met a basic drop out in the recruiters office claiming he had THREE HUNDRED pounds in his ruck.
Then I look at some statistics - initial claims of 400 fighters. Then dumbed down to 300. I'm willing to bet there were ~75 of them. They were too busy running 20 miles for a warm up to notice them sneaking into the COP.
Sorry for the grammar mistakes. I typed this in a fit of rage.
I might as well burn the shit. I don't even feel like reading it anymore.
>>30428782
the fuck does it matter how much they ran?
>>30428805
Because it's a blatant lie. It destroys his credibility.
Tonks are obsolete. They are defeated by ATGM which can't be defended against due to weight restriction. For fire support autocannons are superior to the oversized gun whose only job is killing other tanks.
It should go the way of the battleship. There's no room on the modern battlefield for a lumbering overarmored big-gun platform. It's all about stealth, detection, mobility and range now.
>>30428001
>Tonks
>>30428001

Opinion disregarded
>>30428001
Nah mate tanks have fuck-awesome sensors, that autocannon on a Bradley isn't going to pop vehicles (or pink squishies) nearly as far away as the main gun will.
I need you guys to educate me.Why the hate for the f35? I don't know much about planes, but from what I've seen on /k/, it apparently sucks.
It's just a liberal thing
Liberal media decided to run with the F-35 sucks meme
Then liberals repeat it because they thrive in being willfully ignorant
It doesn't suck, but you gotta admit that its development program is dragging on a bit.
>>30427770
it's too fat and too expensive. it's supposed to be a jack of all trade so it sucks. too fat to be a fighter, to small to be a bomber. the airframe was butchered to make it STOL capable.
I Told You I Bought a Lynx Edition
It's going to be a great Independence Day weekend.
>>30427385
How?
More importantly where and for how much?
Oh fuck I'm diamonds
>>30427385
Just sighted it in. I love my Aug. Just got a kydex stock protector on eBay. Going to get a light for it, I want something reliable but not surefire expensive. In boy scouts we had super reliable waterproof shock proof hand lights that cost maybe 80$ for the best.
Who was better armed?
Who had a better taste?
How would you describe the shooters weapon choices?
Dylan -- Intratec TEC-DC9 (9-mm semi-automatic handgun) attached to a strap slung over his shoulder (under coat), Savage 311-D 12-gauge double-barrel shotgun (barrel sawed down to approximately 23 inches, initially half-hidden in Dylan's cargos).
Black cargo pants, a black T-shirt that said Wrath in red across the front, black baseball cap (worn backwards), and a black trenchcoat (leather duster, really). Also wore a black fingerless glove on his left hand and black combat boots. Had a red medallion on his left boot bearing a sickle and hammer. Black suspenders were found close to his body.
Eric -- 10-shot Hi-Point model 995 carbine rifle on a strap (under coat), Savage-Springfield 67H 12-gauge pump shotgun he called 'Arlene' (named after a Doom character - initially in one of the duffels carried to the top of the grassy knoll -- stock and barrel sawed off, reducing the entire gun to 26 inches).
Black fatigue-style pants, a white T-shirt inscribed with the words Natural Selection on the front, black baseball cap with the letters "KMFDM" on it (worn backwards), and a black trenchcoat (duster). Wore a black fingerless glove on his right hand and black combat boots.
Both wore utility belts which held pouches filled with shotgun shells and they carried CO2 bombs and clips of 9 mm bullets in their pants. Also, both had match strikers taped to their forearms, presumably to be used to easily light their bombs.
The sawed-off weapons, both around 30 years old, were so short that firing repeatedly from them caused their hands to bleed on the practice range initially. They apparently acclimatized to the weapons over the months preceding the shootings. Both gunmen also carried several knives, but they did not use them on April 20.
>>30427138
Neither.
Both had shit taste in everything and were terribly armed, and they most DEFINITELY had shit taste because they FUCKED UP OUR PUBLIC IMAGE EVEN MORE.
The dumb bastards.
>>30427138
How horrible that people as weak as this ended the lives of so many.
Not surprised in the slightest they had such bad taste in firearms.
