I have a problem /k/,
I come from South Dakota and am 100% from the Lakota tribe. My ancestors run back many generations, my family even has pre-Anglo relics.
My family and my people love guns, I've been shooting since I was 5 and we have a giant vault room with over 100 rifles, handguns, and shotguns, even 19th century lever action rifles.
But things changed when I moved to Texas when I got accepted to UT Dallas for post grad. I brought some guns from home, and would go to the range and never liked my experiences there. I always got stares from all the white people, some asked if I was middle eastern, some asked if I was from ISIS, and a lot gave me the cold shoulder. Thought it could have been this one range but every gun shop or range I went to I felt like I was either looked down upon or judged based on the color of my skin.
I like the second things they do, we probably had similar experiences with firearms like hunting and shit, but they treated me like shit cause I'm not white.
People always told me that gun culture was a white club, but I didn't believe it. What the fuck /k/? My people have been killed off, we have had our rigets then away, we have been disarmed, our past is what white people are afraid of now.

Other then that, fine guns. nothing really wrong with them. aftermarket is hella abundant and mags are cheap (and made of plastic, gross!) They're just a lot less unique these days. In a sea of striker fired polymer frames, they fail to stand out with anything other then their brand.
Favorite aircraft of WWII.
It's the F4U Corsair for me.
I like the F4U, the P-38, the B-17, and the Catalina.

I'm reading the book "Red Platoon" by Clinton Romesha - a former cav scout who was awarded the Medal of Honor at COP Keating and something just IS NOT right with this book. Here, I'll post some excerpts:
First one:
Talking about someone showing up late to formation, being given a heavy stick to carry

This is talking about a fucking regular army platoon of Cav scouts. The first time I figured - hey, the guys been out of the military a little bit, maybe he forgot some things - maybe it was really a ruck march. But there no excuse for this flat out bullshit. A 20 mile run is almost a marathon.

It nvalidates the entire book for me. It's similar to before I went to basic when I met a basic drop out in the recruiters office claiming he had THREE HUNDRED pounds in his ruck.
Then I look at some statistics - initial claims of 400 fighters. Then dumbed down to 300. I'm willing to bet there were ~75 of them. They were too busy running 20 miles for a warm up to notice them sneaking into the COP.

Tonks are obsolete. They are defeated by ATGM which can't be defended against due to weight restriction. For fire support autocannons are superior to the oversized gun whose only job is killing other tanks.
It should go the way of the battleship. There's no room on the modern battlefield for a lumbering overarmored big-gun platform. It's all about stealth, detection, mobility and range now.

Just sighted it in. I love my Aug. Just got a kydex stock protector on eBay. Going to get a light for it, I want something reliable but not surefire expensive. In boy scouts we had super reliable waterproof shock proof hand lights that cost maybe 80$ for the best.

Dylan -- Intratec TEC-DC9 (9-mm semi-automatic handgun) attached to a strap slung over his shoulder (under coat), Savage 311-D 12-gauge double-barrel shotgun (barrel sawed down to approximately 23 inches, initially half-hidden in Dylan's cargos).
Black cargo pants, a black T-shirt that said Wrath in red across the front, black baseball cap (worn backwards), and a black trenchcoat (leather duster, really). Also wore a black fingerless glove on his left hand and black combat boots. Had a red medallion on his left boot bearing a sickle and hammer. Black suspenders were found close to his body.
Eric -- 10-shot Hi-Point model 995 carbine rifle on a strap (under coat), Savage-Springfield 67H 12-gauge pump shotgun he called 'Arlene' (named after a Doom character - initially in one of the duffels carried to the top of the grassy knoll -- stock and barrel sawed off, reducing the entire gun to 26 inches).
Black fatigue-style pants, a white T-shirt inscribed with the words Natural Selection on the front, black baseball cap with the letters "KMFDM" on it (worn backwards), and a black trenchcoat (duster). Wore a black fingerless glove on his right hand and black combat boots.
Both wore utility belts which held pouches filled with shotgun shells and they carried CO2 bombs and clips of 9 mm bullets in their pants. Also, both had match strikers taped to their forearms, presumably to be used to easily light their bombs.
The sawed-off weapons, both around 30 years old, were so short that firing repeatedly from them caused their hands to bleed on the practice range initially. They apparently acclimatized to the weapons over the months preceding the shootings. Both gunmen also carried several knives, but they did not use them on April 20.
