Copypasta from the reddit fringe zone. /k/ related because it involves green/black berets, secret military ops, bioengineering facilities, fringe theories, government woo woo and rare Dale Gribble-like lost based legends of the 80's and early 90's when the world was a different kind of magical place. I feel like gun shows always had a nice little section cut out for folks like that.

Phil Schneider was a geologist and explosives engineer who confessed to having been directly involved in the construction of 13 underground U.S. government facilities, carrying a level 3 security clearance. He reputedly worked in S-4, Area 51, and Los Alamos during his time as a government official. In 1979, he was assigned to Dulce, New Mexico to work on the tunnel for a bioengineering facility.

While working there he claimed to have been one of only three survivors of a conflict that would later take place between 67 secret service agents, green berets and black berets and a group of EBE's (extraterrestrial biological entities) that were encamped there for over 500 years after arriving on Earth. Phil Schneider broke his silence after 15 years when in the mid 1990's he traveled around the country to share his story and warn Americans that, to this day, there is a war being fought between the world power's and the Grey Aliens.

After promulgating this information there were purportedly 11 attempts on his life. On January 17, 1996 he was found dead in his apartment, a catheter wrapped around his neck 3 times and tied in a knot, after having been on disability during a long battle with cancer. His death was ruled a suicide. Phil would often tell his friends and relatives, that if he ever "committed suicide" you would know that he had been murdered.

Claims and Accusations against the U.S. Government:

In his national lectures, Phil Schneider spoke of the Alien Agenda which he claimed was to take over this planet and exterminate 7/8's of the world's population by the year 2029. His other claims include:

1.) The American government concluded a treaty with "gray" aliens in 1954. This mutual cooperation pact is called the Grenada Treaty.
2. ) The space shuttle has been producing special alloys in orbit. A vacuum is needed for the creation of these special metals, thereby justifying the mandate for a large, permanently manned space station.
3.) Much of our stealth aircraft technology was developed by back-engineering crashed alien craft.
4.) AIDS was a population control virus invented by the National Ordinance Laboratory in Chicago, Illinois.
5.) Unbeknownst to just about everyone, the US government has an earthquake device. Neither the 1995 Kobe earthquake nor the 1989 San Francisco quake had a pulse wave.
6.) The World Trade Center bomb blast and the Oklahoma City blast were achieved using small nuclear devices. The melting and pitting of the concrete and the extrusion of metal supporting rods indicated this. (Schneider's forte, he claimed, was explosives.)

Source: projectcamelot.org

After his death, Phil Schneider's wife claimed the CIA entered her home and took with them, the lecture notes, photographs, and many of the objects he would bring to his lectures that he claimed were of alien origin.

Although I'm almost entirely certain that his story is bs in some way, I was always extremely impressed with the sheer expansiveness and detail of the conspiracy he claimed to be a part of.

There was always an answer for every question given, and that always made me wonder just how much of it was made up

This was pretty good. Only movie I ever liked Shia Labeuf in. If I had to describe it in one phrase I would say. "A bunch of douche bags in a tank" or "Best job I ever had."

Oh lol no.

The battle scenes were hilarious, something you'd expect out of a comic book adaptation. Don't even know why they bothered pulling that DAK early Tiger I out of storage.

It's got the same theme as Kelly's Heros. Kind of a mockery of war films.

Any suggestions for other movies to watch?

Are there more effective grip customizations? Crosshatch, skate deck tape and intertube tape come to mind.

I think it is functional, but a lot of the home jobs people do I find distasteful. I use grip tape (silicon carbide or rubberized) on my guns since I want to be able to go back to stock for sale if I want/need to.

Professional grip work I can get down with since most tend to look like something you may find on a purpose driven factory gun.
>>
I would never stipple any of my glocks. It looks absolutely awful, and is a permanent modification to the frame. Also, when you remove material, then burn holes in it, it weakens the frame. I bet I could crush the grip on even the most professionally Stippled glock.
>>
>>30411570
I'd go with grip tape first, just to see if you like sandpaper on your gun. Then, if you like it, then you can get it stippled if you so choose.

Personally, I'd use grip tape in case I wanted to sell it.

>>30411638 speaks the truth, most hope stipple jobs are decent at best and shit at worst. If you want stippling, get it done by someone who knows what they're doing.

Has there ever been a battle in history decided mainly by the fact that one side's soldiers were tougher (had more guts/were thicker skin/etc.) than the soldiers on the other side?

I've been trying to make an accurate replica of a first world war trench for awhile now.

Pic related is what I've got so far but I wanted to know what you guys think I can do or improvements.

I do plan on making it much deeper (at least 7 feet) with sand bags, barbed wire, and a dugout to sleep in.

All tips are appreciated

If a gun ban were to happen and mass confiscation was going on, how would you hide your weapons? Saying "I don't have them." might work for a bit, but eventually they will check records and find out whether you reported them stolen or if you bought them.

This is retarded. That's what you do when REGISTRATION happens.

If there is mass confiscation you have to be occupying a public spot in your state like the capitol building with dozens of armed guys, just have everyone get together chill out there.

What modern production DA/SA handgun has the best Double action trigger pull? Is it the Sigs?
101 posts and 26 images submitted.
>>
>>30408741
The DA pull on a standard Sig is awful, sadly.
My P226 X-Five Allround's DA pull is incredibly shitty. The SA is good but could be better.

Beretta 92/M9

Sig Legion. No competition.

>>30408817
I disagree. Every Sig that I've had has had a great DA and SA trigger pull, save for my old SP2022 which wasn't bad but wasn't great.

>>30408886
The 92/M9 does have a great trigger, but the Legion kills everything. That said, I'd like to shoot a Wilson Combat 92 Brigadier and see how that compares to the Legion.

So who here plays Wargame Red Dragon?

Pretty solid Cold War gone hot RTS with an insane amount of variety of units and nations, faithfully recreated models and pretty fun gameplay.

Most recently announced news is the inclusion of Israeli forces in an upcoming nation pack DLC, with the one after that adding both Yugoslavia and Finland.

It's part of Obama's plan to encourage a proto-communist revolution. One of the steps is his purging the military of all capable and dependable leaders and replacing them with assholes and women.

Concealed carry or an AR 15?

I had my concealed carry a few months back, ended up needing to sell it (AKA, wife was constantly on my shit about how I spent 500$ on a gun when our baby was just born) and now I just sold my motorcycle and plan on getting another one. My biggest debate here is between just getting a concealed carry handgun (most likely another XDS) or just getting an AR15. I want something for protection, but want something I'll enjoy shooting at the range. I'm in PA if that makes any difference. Pic related, DELTON SPORT AR 15 5.56 RIFLE for 600. It would seem that the general consensus on 19s around here is gen 3 over gen 4. Why exactly is that? Does the 4 have a different finish? Is the frame structurally compromised?

Thinking about getting one but would like done people's opinions on the two

I've had gen 2s and 3s and a 4. I only have gen 3 now. Nothing particularly wrong with the gen 4. Some people have had problems....usually ejection related. The gen 3s just got everything right. Only reason to get a gen 4 is for the optic mount
>>
>>30407911
Bigger mag release was better in gen 4

Hard to fit the extended gen 3 release in a holster.
>>
When you walk into a funstore the gen3 and gen4 will be sitting next to each other. One will be ~$50 cheaper.
That's the difference.

Almost daily, young soldiers were sadistically beaten by veterans. Everything not screwed down, including arms and ammunition, was sold in the marketplace, often to the Chechen separatists the army was supposed to be fighting.
>"The reconnaissance boys kicked us out of our beds and beat us the whole night. Towards morning they got tired of that and ordered us to do squats on the floor. We sat down, pressed up tightly against each other, and our mingled sweat ran down our legs, dripped onto the bare floorboards and soon formed a pool beneath us. Andy also dripped pus and blood into the mix as his sores opened up again."
>Babchenko describes how a tragic herd of Russian mothers descended on a base in the Caucasus, searching for their sons missing in action. "Before setting off on foot to Chechnya with their photos, they have to look through a mountain of corpses in the refrigerators at the station and in the tents. Constant shrieks and moans can be heard from there and the mothers have aged 10 years when they are led out."
>The fate of those who fell into Chechen hands was unspeakable. Yakoviev, one of the author"s comrades, disappeared during the storming of Grozny. He was later found in a cottage cellar by the military police: "The rebels had slit him open like a tin of meat, pulled out his intestines and used them to strangle him while he was still alive. On the neatly whitewashed wall above him, written in his blood, were the words "Allah akbar" - God is great."

Is there really any war that was more brutal than the Chechen wars for both sides?

You forgot to add
>mercilessly and sadistically exterminate the local intellectual & patriotic elites, and everyone who could potentially resist

We've been fighting Russians for what, 600 years, and they have been a nation of brutal sadists since the Mongols steamrolled them.

>Kościuszko Uprising. Praga massacre. After Russians broke through the defences, Suvorov gave orders to loot, burn and rape everything they want. Not even domestic animals ware spared, drunk russians and kossaccks would impale dogs and cats on stakes. Almost entire population of right-wing Warsaw was massacered. Later all got medals for it, and Suvorov is a national hero for all the Russians.

>January Uprising. Russian soldiers intercepted a group of what they thought are young men who want to join the rebels. They gauge out their eyes, and sadistically kill them all. Than they gave medals to all who participated in "putting down Polish rebellion".

Did you know, that if you starve women and put them in extremely harsh environment, their female organs can fall out, and hang between their legs?
http://www.cvltnation.com/brutal-drawings-from-the-gulag/

Fuck all Russians to their death.

I remember this quote from "We Were Soldiers"
"What should we do with the wounded (French)?"
- asks the soldier
"kill all they send, and they will stop coming"
- the commander replied.

If it makes you feel better anon I'll tell you two things.

1.) You're worrying too much, buy good ammo like Hornady or something and you'll be good, the possibility of a fail is INCREDIBLY low.

2.) I have had nightmares where I engaged in hand to hand and struggled for my life because I forgot I had my gun on my back.

I went 22 years without it on my waste, it's possible I could forget its even there....
