I'm interested in getting a 1911 just to say I have one, even though I'm really turned off by the low 7-8rd capacity.
I'd rather use an FNX and have 17 rounds of .45...
Anyways, I'm really overwhelmed by the options, can anyone help me out? I don't mind spending up to 1500, but if I can get an acceptable one under 1000, then I will.

Since you'd rather a hicap for .45, consider getting a pistol in a caliber you don't have, just for the sake of it feeling different, like .38 Super, .40S&W, 10mm, or .45 Super

So I just got a used Browning A5 at Cabelas for $332. I would like to make it into a reproduction of the Browning A5s used in Rhodesia. My question is, where can I find the 9 shot magazine tube and furniture, along with any other parts I'd need? Pic related, Browning a5 from Google, I'll post pics of mine when I get home, I'm in the car now.

Heritage rough rider. It's a .22 revolver and usually comes with a .22 magnum cylinder. They're cheap, fun, and .22 mag isn't bad.
I just got a hefty amount of money and plan to either get into SASS shooting or buy some cool futuristic guns. But I'm not a John Marston cosplaying tool so it will probably be the latter.
I want to buy some unique looking guns, Right now I'm looking at gats for pure novelty such as the Kriss Vector, Chiappa Rhino, or ARX160. I'm also a CaliFag so theres that. What should I buy? Were looking at a ~$3,200 budget. Also an NRA Instructor so I don't plan to spend money on training.

Because in Mexico you can't (or they make it real difficult, I'm not a Mexican lawyer) own a gun chambered for a common military cartridge.
Italy has similar laws which is why 9x21mm is popular there as an alternative to 9x19.

In Mexico, and many parts of South America, .45ACP and 9mm Luged are "military" cartridges, and .357 is often restricted for other faggot reasons, so .38 Super is one of the few pistol cartridges north of .380ACP which is legal.

I have a SW MP AR15. They're ok ARs.
first thing to do is replace the front sight post/gas block with a low profile gas block. Then put on a freeloating hand guard like a Troy Alpha.
change out the A2 flash suppressor muzzle device with quality muzzle brake like a Miculek.
quality metal iron sights. Kinghts Armaments makes good ones that fold down, compact, and you can adjust the rear for range.

I bought an M&P15 years ago. Aside from a defective spring that needed to be changed out to keep proper bolt hold open, I have had zero problems with it over the years.
As for accessories, I'm the kinda guy who will tell you not to go crazy with it until you shoot a bit an figure out what you like. I ended up going with a Ergo grip, Troy BUIS, free float rail, and low profile gasblock.
For now, until you decide to put a bunch of stuff on the rifle though, those plastic grips as actually quite comfy. I'd keep them until you get another good set, don't settle for quadrails, which suck.
