I don't know. I have heard this meme about M855 being "light" Armor piercing but have never found any documentation on it besides forum posts from gun sites with no documentation or proofs.

Also M995 is the stated AP ammo in the US military, not M855 and I have never seen any written documentation in FMs or Lesson plans claiming it has AP capabilities.

Dumb buddy of mine got a Glock 19 for a carry gun, put about 250 rounds through it, then decided it wasn't for him.
Fast forward a year, just bought it off him on the cheap cheap.
Problem: He didn't clean it after putting those rounds through it and it's been sitting with residue/carbon and building up dust since.
Gave it a good cleaning with the rest of the Hoppe's I had left, but idk if that was enough.
Anything else I can do to deep clean the bitch?

If you aren't interested in history, avoid milsurp. They won't perform better than a modern bolt gun, ammo is often (but not always) rare/expensive, and they're not even cheap anymore.

My 2 cents is that it's still a good rifle for the price. They're fun, accurate and durable. There's better rifles out there, but maybe not many that are quite as much fun.

So I just got my armed security license and I'm needing to buy a gun this week. I'm currently carrying my Tiger LCP because I have the conceal carry endoursment on my license.Thinking about buying the S&W SD40VE as my duty weapon. I recently read that new versions of the Reaper can break 30 hours of flight time. At the same time it seems like most new UAVs and UCAVs being made can at least break 30, with many even getting into 40 hours of endurance.
That said, how does switching out crews work? Are there reserve crews ready to swap in after a certain hour mark if needed or is it a shift-type situation?

I'm stationed at a base that has a reaper squadron, tho I don't work on them I know a cyber transporter and some pilots who do.
For each flight, there's a pilot and a sensor operator. Both work 8 hour shifts, after that shift they are relieved by another crew.
There are a dick ton of pilots and sensor operators for every bird, depending on the mission most flights don't go over the 24hr mark as there is really no need.
Now other agencies and branches operate drones also but that's...
