If I mount a magnifier behind a traditional rifle scope, say a 10x leupold, what kind of results could I expect?
Would it effectively double the zoom?
Would the eye relief be better? Worse?
Would it essentially act in first-focal-plane fashion (by magnifying the crosshairs as well as the target)?
etc
I don't think that's how it works.
>>28082766
Well yeah, but what would I see?
An impossible-to-focus picture?
All black due to horrible eye relief? Or better eye relief since a pinhole of light is being magnified?
seriously, nobody on /k/ owns both a magnifier and a rifle scope?
ISIS gets a hold of a single nuclear missile and launches it at Washington DC.
How well would US security measures defend the attack?
>>28082697
Kek, that would literally never happen.
>>28082697
A single missile would be easy enough to stop.
>>28082697

Clip......no fucking words

Because cartridges are narrower at one end than at the other.

I'm re-enrolling in college in a semester or two. Do you milbros have experience being the old non-democrat dude in the classroom? What rifle plate should I put in my backpack? What ballistic helmets would also make good bicycle helmets? What are some school-safe self-defense tools? Am I going to have trouble making friends?
spasibo /k/omrades
Go away CNN.
>>28082567
I mostly read RT for the entertainment value.
There's more nontraditional students than ever. You might not even stand out.
You'll have trouble making friends because you seem like an autist.
Since you're not living in a dorm feel free to conceal carry if it's not a felony in your state. (A lot of states only have school administrative punishment... aka who gives a fuck as a vet, especially since if you have half a brain you'll never be noticed carrying.)
Is it any good? Dont know much about it other than it comes in a few caliber varieties and its not up my alley. My brother wants one. Told him to just get an mp5 ffs but we discussed it and hes set on the g36. Pic related.
>>28082495
tell him to lookup the melting
it got bad enough that the germans want to replace it
>>28082513
Ignore this faggot. Rifle is fine.
The operating conditions for that particular incident would have put any modern assault rifle out of commision.
>>28082495
>Dont know much about it other than it comes in a few caliber varieties
Are you using caliber in the artillery sense here?
Hey /k/, I've tried to look for respectable sources on "gun violence' and correlations between firearm ownership and firearm homicides and so on, but all i get are liberal articles.
Can someone point me in the right direction to red pill myself on the 2nd amendment?

well /k/ommandos, it is crazy gun time. doesn't have to be real, doesn't have to be legal, just has to be your dream gun or craziest gun. my personal is:

What so great about the Browning?
Not talking aesthetics for "steel frames are classy" type answers. What makes it have such a cult following? Is the trigger really that great? Why do people love them?
>>28082367
I think they're ugly, pointy slide, roll pins in aesthetically unpleasing locations and cheap looking extractor.
>It's like a cheap CZ knock off.
I've heard the trigger was shit compared to other SAO's.
It was just the first double stack 9 that got super popular.
>>28082367
>Is the trigger really that great?
STOCK TRIGGERS SHIT BRO
THANK THE MAG DISCONNECT
Hey /k/ how is the polish pm 63 rak?
>>28082356
Sex machine pistol.
>>28082356
light trigger, small sights, tiny stock, gotta watch out for slide to not get hit with it
>>28082356
I like how they made the trigger "reset-lazy" so even the semi only models that I fired at Czech ranges gave some decent bursts of controllable length with some finger control.
I wonder if you could create a makeshift fire selector with some tape and paper/cardboard to keep the trigger from moving back too far and resetting.
Hey /k\ which is better the cz 52 or the ttc tokarev 7.62x25?
The one actually designed from the beginning for 7.62x25.
Tokarev because the CZ-52 looks gay.
Tokarev-
>Take a FN1903
>Give it a thumb release, new caliber, and a nifty external hammer pack
CZ52-
>take a 20 year old pistol
>make it worse in every way
What would happen if the US just completely flattened the UK with nukes? I'm talking a full first strike.
Could we completely put them out of action?
I'm talking every airport, military base, shipyard, city and even every small town.
>>28082133
Easily. Disabling their ability to retaliate wouldn't be very difficult either. We'd just have to wait until the next time the Trident needs maintenance and then insert a few hidden blocks into the system to prevent it from firing.
>>28082133
Obvs you havent heard of chatham..
Obvs you no nothing of uk
Obvs you think uk military hasnt thought of this first to think this.

>What would happen if the US just completely flattened the UK with nukes? I'm talking a full first strike.
Every other nuclear power + any surviving brit sub launches against america.
because america is obviously off it's meds.
So I found out that these old Vorderlader (sorry I don't know the english word muzzle-loader?) are legal if they were "invented" before 1871. Black pulver isn't legal though.
Is it possible to shoot them without black pulver?
What model etc. would you rec?
>>28082023
>Muzzle-loaders are legal
>Black powder is illegal

Black powder cannot be obtained without a license.
He is trying to buy a pistol that does not require a licence.
He would also require some sort of propellant that is also obtatined without a license.
He should just get his license, because I doubt you could buy the necessary percussion caps as well without a license.

Is it possible to ID fingerprints off of a rock used in self defense?
If hypothetically one were to have committed an act of self defense on another person, and the rock in question were mixed in with a bevy of similarly sized rocks, what are the odds anyone would be able to ID said rock if it were properly rinsed?
Is the rock the ultimate stealth weapon?
>>28082003
>premeditating murder via rock
>can't premeditate getting gloves
How fucking poor are you?
>>28082003
Just make a blunderbuss loaded with a small rock your carry piece.
>>28082003
>Is it possible to ID fingerprints off of a rock
Depends on the rock. A piece of quartz with lots of smooth edges, you could probably get some decent partials. Sandstone or other gritty rocks? Forget about it.
> ID said rock if it were properly rinsed?
>rinsed

Does /k/ like Operation Flashpoint? Thinking about picking it up for a buck. From what I've heard, it's more realistic than CoD but less realistic than Arma.
How's the shooting? Does it feel solid or does it fall victim to popgun syndrome?
>>28081989
Fun game, Friendly fire the marksmen who is 450 M south east of you on first mission to obtain m21 and have fun. Otherwise good luck seeing targets.
I wouldn't recommend this game op. The shooting is okay but the FOV is really low and can be kind of painful. There's no tacticool shit in the game either.
>>28081989
no go, cover arts the only good thing about this shitty piece of shit. I always try to play games- and like them. It couldn't happen here.
