Why didn't the Joker ever have Harley sit down with Batman (she might be batshit insane, but she does have a psychology degree if I recall correctly) and explain to him how everything he's doing is basically a child's reaction to a parent's death? Basically tell him that he's shaming his parents by obsessing over their deaths instead of moving on.
I think Hugo Strange touched on how Batman makes villains more "villainish" by existing. Same argument people use for police militarization and how more dakka will make other gits needs more dakka too. I guess I'm just surprised that Bane is pretty much the only foe of Batman that comes to mind to really try to break him mentally.
On a side note, I fucking hate her new pigtails. The old harlequin hood was way better IMO.
