Why didn't the Joker ever have Harley sit down with Batman (she might be batshit insane, but she does have a psychology degree if I recall correctly) and explain to him how everything he's doing is basically a child's reaction to a parent's death? Basically tell him that he's shaming his parents by obsessing over their deaths instead of moving on.
I think Hugo Strange touched on how Batman makes villains more "villainish" by existing. Same argument people use for police militarization and how more dakka will make other gits needs more...

I was expecting them to either gloss over it have everybody blame the visitors or have power girl go all emo but I think they handled it very well.
I especialy like that the villans often get rehabilitated nice change of pace.
