Ok I'm reading suicide squad and there's one thing I don't getI realise it's intentional that Waller hides secrets from her team that they really need to know it's her weakness and I'm fine with that.
But frankly it breaks my suspension of disbelief that the squad somehow succeededs despite that it's simply to huge a character flaw for her project to work

Finally found time to finish the final issue of American Alien last night. I think the series is easily the newest seminal Superman story to come out after All -Star Superman and will rank up there with among the best for years to come.

It's pretty well-written and I like the humor. Typical Oedekerk stuff. It's a bit more reeled in than Kung Pow or Ace Ventura.

I don't get it. Is "The Rusty Venture Show" a cartoon or a documentary in the show's universe?
I take it Doctor Venture actually went on all those adventures as a kid, so why is the show itself portrayed like it's a Hanna-Barbera/Jonny Quest-style cartoon? Shouldn't it really be filmed documentary-style if we're following him around on his adventures?
It's more of an entertainment biographic with a dose of corporate propaganda.

The Rusty Venture 'cartoon' is more or less exaggerated 'animated' retellings of Jonas Venture's adventuring/scientific exploits, but marketed through his son's image as a Saturday morning...
