If you have not read this, do so. The art is great, the cosmology fantastic, the potential for an eventual rpg high, and updates have been pretty fast and consistent without compromising quality. It is relatively new though.

I liked it a lot better when the post apocalyptic shit was only implied. Adventure Time's has a problem of over explaining itself. The writers aren't nearly good enough to handle nuanced storytelling so they end up beating you over the head with anything they thought was the least bit clever. Ultimately the more questions they answer about OOO and the characters pasts the less special the whole thing feels.
