Happy Thanksgiving, /co/! Let's post /co/-related balloons.

What sort of character death would never occur in cape comic? Villain, hero, or just some side character.
>>77726661
>What sort of character death would never occur in cape comic?
A permanent one. Mar-Vell excluded, of course (but that didn't stop Marvel from teasing his return in the lead-up to Secret Invasion).
>>77729221
>A permanent one
Remember times when Bucky, Jason Todd and uncle Ben would never get revived?
>>77729221
He's been temporarily revived multiple times. The most recent one being during KSD's Captain Marvel. The time before that was in Secret Avengers' AvX tie-in.
Be honest, /co/.
You think you're better than them, don't you?
Bendis, Hickman, Remender, Johns, Kirkman, Snyder, Finch... even the bigwigs like Ennis and Ellis.
You think you're better writers than them. You think you know comics better than them. You think that, given the opportunity, you could do their jobs better than they can.
It's okay to admit it. It's perfectly natural to feel that way.
And the best part of all is... for the most part, you're right. You ARE better. And you know it.

>the /a/rrogant mouth breathers of /co/
>better than established writers
Nah tbqh family
I really don't, though. Some of those names? I think yeah, they've gotten so far up their own asses that they produce crap and think it's fine.
Others are doing quality work regularly, maybe not always groundbreaking, but you never see them phoning it in.
Mark Waid looks like he doesn't want to be there.
>Think of any /co/ character got it?
>they have now invited you over for a slumber party how does it go?
Constant supervision, have to sleep in her brother's room

Neither of us would probably say much.

Nuke/Cap hatefuck when?
Okay, guys. We have a super fit white blonde guys with a totally cop hair cut. Nondescript ball cap, muted casual jocket, grey shirt, super dark cop shades. How can we make these fellows look anymore conspicuous?

>Civil War act 1 climax
>Bad cops surround cap
>"We got him, boss"
>Dude pops a couple pills and fucks them all up.
>Cap has to go hide because of misunderstanding and racism towards whites all looking the same..
I see Marvel can't stop killing off their villains.
>RIP you cheeky devil.
I really cannot for the life of me understand why Marvel doesn't want any of their villains alive. perhaps they don't know how to keep their power level high while operating in episodic fashion? And don't give me that they would just try again bs, we as the audience use suspension of disbelief every time we "forget" about the other avengers in the solo films or when we watch agents of shield.
>>77726032
Wilson Fisk is alive.
>>77726032
How could they have contained Kilgrave and brought him to trial after Nuke Nuked everything? At the time they finally caught up to him again, his range, control, and duration had increased dramatically.
>>77726032
I read that in his voice.
Im thinking of watching jessica jones on netflix ,is it any good /co/
>>77725490
Not really.
>>77725490
Very...what's the word for it? Dragged out and unsatisfying.
It has black-on-white anal sex.
I know both of them are shit compared to Hanna-Barbera, but which newer version of Tom & Jerry do you prefer?
I've heard most people say the Jones shorts are better and the Deitch ones are "too mean-spirited" (inb4 MrEnter), but I've also heard others say the trippy atmosphere of Deitch is funnier than the cutesiness of Jones.
>>77724854
I always disliked Jones Tom and Jerry. I love his other stuff, but I just hate the way he does Tom and Jerry specifically.
>>77725271
This. His T&J shorts were the definition of bland.
i prefer jones drawing style and the animation always feels smoother than deitch
but theres something to be said for the sound effects he uses theyre really funny to me
So now that it's been about 3 issues, what's the general consensus on New Avengers?
Overall, I've been thinking it has potential, but was curious about what others are thinking about it.
The best thing from ANAD so far. The dialogue is fun, and I think the art is a perfect 90s pastiche mixed with a more modern anime-ish aesthetic. I also love how the plot kind of reminds me of the late 90s/early 00s Marvel books, concentrated short, wacky stories. And clearly Ewing is actually going to be focus on character development, I enjoyed the peak into everyone's individual conversations on base last issue.
>>77724490
Meh. I didn't expect to like it all that much but still pretty disappointed. The art isn't great, The Maker isn't impressive, and a fucking Hulkling story.
>>77724846
>a fucking Hulkling story.
That is the best part of this mess. Teddy finally has something to do instead of just being Wiccan's accessory.
Why did the Kryptonians evolve in such a way as to take advantage of yellow sunlight when their planet had none?
>>77724384
Because their civilization is millions of years old and they DID have a yellow sun before.
I thought it was just a weird coincidence.
Other suns affect them too
