Because no one asked for it. Chuck Austen's Uncanny X-Men run. See what happens to the characters that Morrison and Claremont didn't care about! And then see Austen IMMEDIATELY retcon Morrison's run the second it ends.
Claremont returns to the books in 2000. It's underwhelming. Probably editorial's fault. They bring Morrison in. Claremont is offereda choice of one of the core titles, or a third "new title." He takes the new title (X-Treme X-Men) and his plots and characters migrate over there. Joe Casey plays around with the leftovers in Uncanny a bit from 394 - 409. Austen takes over Uncanny around the time X-Force is relaunched as X-Statix, Cable is rebranded Soldier-X, and Deadpool was replaced with Agent X. Frank Tieri is also running a Weapon-X ongoing around this time featuring a-listers like Sauron and Marrow.
It's 2002, and Uncanny X-Men is the worst of the pack. Here we go folks.

I can say without a doubt THIS scene here is one of my favorite scenes in all of Ed Edd n Eddy. the delivery, the pause before Eddy says he'll get a new face letting the audience wait just long enough to wonder what he's going to say, the fucking horse neigh sound effect at the end. and the trumpet sound effects (if not trumpet it's A brass instrument, curse my lack of musical instrument knowledge.)

Seasons1&2 of EEnE were really some of the best animation of the last couple of decades IMO
Can't say a scene in particular, but "Who, What, When, Where, Ed!" is my all time favorite episode just for the 4th wall breaking exploration of cartoon physics
EEnE was a gag-reel show in the same tier as Loony Tunes, timeless humor coupled with an amazing soundtrack and fresh execution and style. A sad day that it ended.

You know what, /co/? I honestly love the christmas threads.
For eleven months of the year it's thr usual hijinks and I wouldn't miss that for the world, but then we get a series of threads at the end of the year where we all put aside our differences and come together over puzzles, anecdotes, comics and just general cheer. It's so nice to see the hate train just put the brakes on for a little while.

This is literally Christopher Reeves era Lex but younger and I guess "crazier"
It's because they think the audience only knows that version of Lex and they're too afraid to make him more comic book accurate even though the seem to be doing it with everyone else.
From the trailer it seems like Luthor is only playing this quirky Hickman'esque persona in public, while hes much more thoughtful and sinister in private.
There's something oddly, and strangely sexual about the whole fusion process in this show. Sersiously, throughout the show, there's been very..very subtle sexual inneuendo about fusing, and the whole seductive dance process lends to this. I'm a tad surprised they let it fly. I aint complain, but just wondering if anyone else has picked up on the hints? Even when Connie and Steven fused for the first time...it really gives off a vibe of sex and eroticism
