Now that the dust has settled can we agree that this trailer focused too much on the final act rather than the focus of the movie and maybe, just maybe, gave away too much. I mean I know it wasn't a massive surprise and that the final fight won't matter as much as the relationship between Batman and Superman, but why reveal the 3rd act villain so cheaply. Less is more. On a side note, I don't get why you autists are so ass blasted about Eisenberg. He's clearly using his public facade at the beginning and he will be a sinister and intelligent psycho behind closed doors. Thoughts?

That may be a fact in the trailer but she has earlier scenes and it's am edited trailer so it's probably inaccurate af e.g. Batman strapped in the Batmobile or Batwing as Doomsday fires a laser at him then suddenly standing up holding a firearm. Here it is friends. The centerpiece of Chuck Austen's run. Sean Phillips was a good choice for the opening epilogue, and I'm enjoying looking at Tan's art a lot more today than I did when I read this for the first time at age 16.
Otherwise, this arc is just.....man. It's the culmination of a lot of the threads Austen has been "building" since #410. So, it's more of the same, in the worst way possible, but cranked up to 11.

If you couldn't tell from the minute the movie was announced that the movie wasn't going to end with Superman and Batman working together to stop Luthor (either in Power Armor or in the guise of using Doomsday/Metallo/Parasite/Etc.) then you need to desperately seek out a Critical Thinking 101 course.
The actual plot of the movie will be Superman either redeeming himself or making amends with the climax of Man of Steel and how he convinces Batman to join sides.

Does it really matter? Honestly, if it revealed too much, then I expect no one to go see it. But of course, that's not the case here, now is it. I personally believe this movie followed a recent path of two other movies.
The first one being Fantastic Four (2015) where the teaser trailer was so good it got us hyped up. The other direction might have or will lead into the Amazing Spider-Man 2 side, where Sony--for some reason--released too many trailers of the movie. But that's what I think though, thanks for reading.
