1. Almost every single new "minority" hero stole their mantle from a white male hero.
2. It's almost always done for agenda purposes.
3. They're usually written as horribly as possible because we're supposed to be happy enough that they just exist.

Also, a lot of the voice acting seems REALLY off. Kingsley and Elba sound alright but Walken, Murray, etc seem really out of place.

I think it's save to say from the Sneak Peek that the onl role Beast Boy will have is being one half of "those two guys" with Blue Beetle while Raven will bond with Damian over their shitty family issues and become his waifu.
Now the upside on that might be that Raven could appear more often in future movies seeing as Damian is being so pushed.
