Is he the new Spiderman?
>>80631570
I don't think he will beat Spiderman's first movie but beat everything else, so it'll be close. Spiderman also has brand recognition that is thirty years older so I would say not yet. Soon if DP 2 or X-Force does equally as well that will give him the permanent kind of brand recognition.

>We live in a world where Deadpool could become the posterboy for superheroes
>>80632165
He has been crafted into the everyman which I've said before so it makes sense, besides the immortality he is basically just a jack of all trades type of guy so he can emulate a lot of real world struggles that most other capes cannot get closed to by nature of their character or powers whereas he can.
Where they're often perfect, he is a fuck up, where they always do the right thing, he thinks about all his options.
It makes him more real.
What does /co/ think of claymation?
BJS
lovely
also it just goes to show that even though clay is really cheap most of it is done by computers now
>Now that old, dirty, bastard was a smart as they get,
>He thought up a lie, and quickly you bet.
>"Phantom Menace is the best Star Wars yet!"
Hey guys, I know everybody loved the emotional eyes and shit but here's something that got me thinking. Do you think they'll reference the eyes in the movie? Like, will any of the characters be aware of the constant changing emotive eyes in the kid's mask? Or do you picture Tony, Widow, Cap or anyone going
>How do you do that?
>Do what?
>How do you do that thing with the eyes?
>What thing?
>That thing...

I don't know, I was wondering if they'd do the same kind of thing in Deadpool but didn't so I doubt it.
>>80630546
Presumably they'll explain the fact that Tony helped design the eyes/suit/whatever
They should have one character constantly question it, meanwhile no one else notices so they think they're going crazy
How can /co/ hate TTG when they keep introducing RARE Starfires?
>>80629930
>it has one good thing in it
>therefore it's good
>>80629985
Literally no complaints
>>80629930
>art style in the parody segment is more watchable than the main cartoon.
Why does TTG keep doing this to us?
>Cult live-action comedy The Tick is making a comeback. Amazon has ordered a pilot for a new take on Ben Edlund‘s comic book character. Edlund, who created the 2001 live-action Fox comedy as well as the 1994 animated series, is back as writer and executive producer as is fellow original exec producer Barry Josephson. Griffin Newman (Vinyl) is set to play Arthur Everest, and Valorie Curry (House of Lies, The Following) has been cast as his sister Dot Everest in the pilot, I have learned. Transcendence helmer Wally Pfister is in negotiations to direct....

yeah warby pat is getting a little old. i'm sure they can find someone a little better, and hopefully one who can emote in a more Tick fashion
hmm, so Dot is less of a boring betty this time? Not sure what to think about that. but still looking forward to it.
>>80629839
Neat. I've been in a Tick mood lately, so this is a great surprise for me.
>In the new incarnation, the blue suit-wearing Tick is recovering from a memory loss. He ends up re-teaming with Arthur to fight evil. Newman’s Arthur, played in the Fox series by David Burke, had been labeled as a schizophrenic because of his statements that evil plans to rule the city, and no one believes him until he runs into Tick.
Aaaand my enthusiasm is dampened. Sounds more like a short...

I liked Warburton but I want to see new people for the role too
Why does it seem like Marvel and the vast majority of the writers that get attached to Black Panther neglect Wakanda as a setting, viewing it as inaccessible or as some kind of obstacle in trying to tell a Black Panther story rather than understanding that Wakanda is the very heart of the Black Panther mythos and one of the coolest settings in the whole of the Marvel universe? Wakanda is a truly unique pulp fantasy sword and sorcery style setting like Mars in the John Carter stories or the Hyborian Age of the Conan the Barbarian stories, a world in and of itself.
Let's...

Because they want him to go around playing superhero with the other established MU characters
Look at Liss Most Dangerous Man arc. It makes no sense whatsoever from either DD's perspective or T'challa's but it had him playing in good ol' NYC and dealing with guys like Luke Cage and Kraven.
>Theme song ended up growing on me
top kek. Song was GOAT right out of the gates
>>80629674
It's strange to me that Marvel and all of these writers so often fail to see just how different it's characters and settings are from one another. Black Panther doesn't need to be a crime fighter
What is Wakanda like anyway? The only thing I've ever seen is a page involving Black panther standing around with a laser sword while a bunch of black people fight him with wooden spears and it seems pretty ridiculous.

Doesn't twitter have an option to go from oldest to newest?
Reading upwards is bizarre
>>80628935
No, only because I hardly know anything about him and what his opinions are like. Garfield was perfection when it came to his Spiderman portrayal, its hard for me to believe someone could top it in any way, you can only make yourself seem different.
This is Asami with no lipstick
I'd still tongue-fuck that mouth pussy.
What else do you expect from a white girl? This is why we needed Korra for that UNFFFUFNFNFUFNFFUFNFNFUFFNF and four seasons of disappointment.

Now you listen to me, Aaron: you don't blow your money on those comic books, you understand? They don't do you a damn bit of good.
And the nude mags? You're gonna be inheriting mine when you're 16 anyway, now look: the junk food and the candy just rots your teeth, gives you bad breath, and the girls run like hell.
Stay the hell away from buying any rock TV shirts, or hip-hop gear, or anything like that.

Who wants a body massage?
Left: Antiheroes, villians and dangerous antagonists
Right:TRUE PATRIOTS.
Why is it that in DC, when superheroes decide to go rouge and do whatecer the fuck they want its presented as bad or at least dangerous, but when Cap does it he is lionized? Is Marvel DC morality reversed somehow? Why would Cap be FOR unchecked power, given America by origin and design was built on preventing that?
The Cadmus Arc in JLU was basically Civil War done right, because the Government wasnt given a bunch of straw villiany and the Leauge realized they had a point and they needed...

In Civil War, Tony became a stand-in for Bush and Cheney.
>implying Tony isn't going to be right yet again
>>80627463
>Why would Cap be FOR unchecked power, given America by origin and design was built on preventing that?
Because he knows that the unchecked power lies in the hands of those with the moral fiber to use it responsibly, as opposed to politicians who will literally kill people under the pretense of "national interest".
It's the Superman problem in BvS: Even if Batman has a point, that Superman has unchecked power, what can he do to stop him? Even kryptonite may not be enough. He'll just have to trust him.
We have to trust our heroes. If they truly are as powerful and noble as we think they are, not only will government oversight be meaningless (how easily Cap escaped from the helicarrier in the comics), but they'll make themselves accountable to the people anyway.
