Why couldn't Spectaluar be as respected as B:TAS when it was airing?

It was respected by Kids WB when it was airing. Then the Marvel/Disney dealings happened.
If it had been left undisturbed, we could've gotten at least a couple more seasons.
Penny: Oh hey, guys, where’re you headed?
Sheldon: To the comic book store. You’re probably thinking, the comic book store? On a Thursday? Why, I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and into a land of madness. What you have failed to take into account, Penny, is that this is Anything Can Happen Thursday.
Penny: You got me. While you’re there, could pick me up a few comics for my nephew’s birthday?
Sheldon: I think you mean comic books. Comics are feeble attempts at humour featuring talking babies and anthropomorphized pets found traditionally in the...

I'd yes except for Princess and The Frog, it was actually good. But I'm in Louisiana so it just hit all the right cords for me playing on New Orleans.
But other than that, it's actually spot on. I just wish we'd get more 2d instead of 3d stuff.

Hello /co/, I've written a screenplay for a Ghost Rider movie. I'm here to ask if it's even remotely possible to get this sort of thing seen by the right people, since I'm an unknown.
My pitch: filmed like a horror/slasher film, R rating, set in MCU after Dr. Strange, not much link to the overarching "Infinity" plotline other than its set in the same world, no quips
>inb4 'let us read it', the fuck is the point?
>filmed like a horror/slasher film, R rating, set in MCU
if thats your angle, just stop right now
im certain a good screenplay writer knows what the studio wants and works around that, and this is disney so a R rated horror movie wouldn't sell, Netflix is different but you're gona need some good ol expensive CGI
also why horror, imo GR was always Hellboy levels of Horror, which is disturbing imagery and so on but like not-forced just for edgyness, at least for me that's how i'd prefer it
speaking of Strange...

OP here.
Well the stuff i have in it isn't too crazy, nothing so bad as say..any of the old Halloween movies or whatnot.
Honestly the most hardcore thing in there is GR chasing a rapist down an empty Nevada highway at night, using the chain to rip off a tire, which causes the guy to crash, and then dragging him behind the motorbike to kill him.
That's as fucked up as it gets.
>>80640156
then why ask for an R-rating
but 4realpost it
I often considered trying to write a screenplay for a new Hulk movie not based off Planet Hulk

>DC Extended Universe
>Only contains the movies
>Not extended to the DC television shows
>Marvel Cinematic Universe
>Contains movies and television shows
>Not exclusive to the cinematic parts
Someone explain that shit.
>>80638997
DC does it right, it's easier to explore a character(s) when you're not stuck to a huge established universe but you can still crossover for fun while a entirely connected universe can lead to inconsistencies
I prefer DC's method (regardless of their contradictory names). I don't want to watch hours of TV shows just to understand what's going on in a movie. I understand that was the case for why the Avengers were at that snow base at the start of AoU
>>80639591
MCU writers have literally no idea what's going on in the TV shows though, it's basically completely disjointed
Name a gayer show than the Ripping Friends.
Drawn Together.
