aside from a good growing-up inspiration, nothing you can't easily acquire by watching it now. it's not like there was a community...
well, there was, later. kinda decent online community. first a shared fanfic universe, lots of lewdness, then when greg put his series bible online, a more sort of sense of extended canon.. plus some conventions that went on until like 2010 or so. pretty cool shit....

Because it's a cartoon and nothing in it is real. This cartoon exists because the assumption is that the vast majority of society can see the line that separates fantasy from reality, and anyone that can't would have been a danger to themselves and others in some other way, via any given source, be it book, movie, song, etc.
If you decided to hold a baby over sharp objects because you saw it in a cartoon, you were most likely going to be persuaded into that or some other ridiculously violent and reckless act because you're clearly...

It has its fun moments but overall it is still a mediocre show and a very poor Spider-Man show.
It also lacks heart, all of these Marvel shows do, you won't even find a moment that is as good or as powerful as anything EMH did like Cap dealing with hate post skrull invasion from the things Skull Cap did, Hank's problems with the Avengers and his breakdown, the Bruce and Hulk relationship, Tony facing a villain he created, etc... etc...
Also I really hate how Thor and Hulk are portrayed as...

I love Mottom and I think Abaddon is doing a good job of setting her up as a witch of great power and capriciousness. I like her aging up and de-aging as a character trait, as well. Using her wand as a fork is a nice touch.

His work looks shitty when it's colored digitally, but it looks serviceable (and even has a certain naive charm) when colored traditionally.

Apparently there's an unanimated episode on the DVD collection that narrates howthey beat Venger, Venger became good and we learned that he was Dungeon Master's son, and all the kids get home.As I recall, it's written by one of the old writers. A good chunk of the VAs come back to play their characters, too.

What'd you guys think of this show? Personally I like it more then BTAS which is one of my favorite cartoons. Plus it had by far my favorite version of Joker
I hated it at first because of the designs, but it was actually pretty good. I like its version of Joker, it's different and fresh, and you can't really follow up Hamill's GOAT Joker from BTAS with something similar, it will just fall flat.
Also, it had a really great first opening theme.

I like it, but not at first. Took a few years. I hate the fact they took incredible characters like Mr. Freeze and Man-Bat which had deep backstories, and made them generic thugs and psychopaths. Also most of those designs are stupid and the music is out of place and way too noticeable.
I really do like the show. I'd recommend it to any Batman fan, but It's not even remotely as great as TAS.
