/co/ has chewed over and digested Killing Joke so many times it looks undesirable, but it's a quintessential Batman story.

/co/, what is your opinion on Seconds? Endearing story or hipster melodrama?I really liked it and thought it used the medium pretty well. Katie was a good protagonist that actually developed. Fight me.
/co/ just hates Scott Pilgrim because it's popular with hipsters. It's actually a pretty good series.
Seconds was also great, and I agree with you OP.
The dream sequences were pretty cool. Only read it once, so I'm not sure how I feel about the heavy use of metaphor and whether or not it was hamfisted.

I really liked Scott Pilgrim too just because of the last couple books, which destroys this perfect world-view Scott had for himself. He realizes he's been an asshole and that if he doesn't change, he's going to lose ANOTHER person who actually cares about him.
It was a nice story wrapped up in pretty fun dialogue, fights, and vidya.
