Hi /co/. Long time no visit.
I have to review a Legion of Super-Heroes comic, and I just absolutely hate it and all these dumb jerks. Can someone please explain the appeal to me? Thanks /co/.

It's a comic book about shipping, with some really substandard space opera clumsily tied onto it.

And when the ships get kinda stale, they just reboot it completely (it's barely tied into any real continuity aside from Superman cock-nobbling) and create all new pairings.
There you have it, the entire reason for the existence for the comic.
Hundreds of issues and it hasn't introduced a single compelling sci-fi element. Not a goddamn one.

Love the artwork, but the comic itself's a little boring
I dislike the modern comic format, specifically Newspaper comics. The industry is set up as an iron wall making it impossible to penetrate and get serialized. Newspaper comics especially turned to shit and now the only one worth reading is.
Web comics are an interesting zone, the art tends to be terrible and the story is not cohesive but its the only way for these artists to get noticed, especially in a push towards a purely digital world. However this often leads to the comic circling and not growing, and getting dragged on beyond its lifespan instead of the artist...

The digital age is the great barrier breaker. Of course there's a lot of garbage and mediocrity floating around, but there are some real gems out there that have been made possible because of the digital age. There's no way something like Lackadaisy would have gone anywhere without the internet.

So Tony's motivation for being against using the precog is that Rhodey died?
That makes no sense. Sure, Rhodey wouldn't have died if it wasn't for the precog, but the alternative was to let Thanos steal a Cosmic Cube. The connection between Ulysses and Rhodey's death is tangential, it has nothing to do with the morality of Minority Report.
The conflict is supposed to be about whether or not stopping crimes before they happen and "punishment before the crime" is a good idea, but going to stop Thanos and War Machine and She-Hulk dying has nothing...

To be fair they're following precedent, Beast Wars had Maximize and Terrorize as in-universe things, though JG1 had transform dubbed in as well.
Incidentally the latest ep of RID was pretty boring, I'm not sure why they made the two teams so unbalanced. You've got all the character conflict stuff broken and Prime, Drift and Windblade are stiff as hell.
