Zootopia might cross the $900 million worldwide mark before it releases in Japan. How likely is it that it hits a billion dollars now?
Could it also beat out Batman Vs Superman domestically? Zootopia's drops have been much more forgiving than BvS', and they're only a couple million apart.

It's never said she died. Nick's 32 or something, his mother could easily be a small enough part of his life she didn't really come up during the events of the film
