I've finally gotten around to watching this, and as much as i love it thus far i can't help but wonder how the fuck did they manage to air it. I'm only a few episodes in and it has had enough, i guess the word i'm looking for is "controversial",stuff to blow south park out of the water, did it have as strong of a backlash as that did?
A combination of being on late enough to have different rules, and being so popular that it can do whatever the hell it wants.

Also, that entire quote block from Snyder speaks volumes to his (lack of) intelligence. In all those words, he doesn't say a single smart thing: he just vomits half-excuses as to why the movie sucks.

He surprisingly does have a point in that he didn't want to cheapen the death by immediately signaling it wouldn't count within the same movie.
Now since resurrection is inevitable, or at least was before the movie did it's best impersonation of an actual flying brick - straight into the ground - since we know the death won't stick is it okay not to show more definitive hints at resurrection or is it okay to let the death stand for a movie and let his return be handled properly (one would hope) in others?
I can at least understand why, when they weren't going to just have Lois return home and Clark is there waiting for her or some other instant undoing of his death, they saw no reason to fellate the issue more than necessary.

Probably Cap. MCU Cap is ridiculously powerful, and while Battfleck's armor could help him tank hits, it's too slow to effectively counter Cap close up, and he doesn't have an equivalent of kryptonite to level the playing field.

Crossed is one of, if not THE, edgiest comic book ever published, but i gotta admit Wish You Were Here was amazingly good. It has its share of meme moment like the dolphin fucking, but the characters are great and the plot is interesting enough.

shows like Venture Bros. and Rick and Morty probably would not exist, even Gravity Falls could be seeing as to mature for a cartoon.
I think that the over sexualized movies like Fritz the Cat and Heavy Metal would dominate the market, because before the Simpsons showing that a smart adult comedy could be made in animation form, people thought that gore and sex = mature
