It's counter-production. People under physical, mentor or psychological duress will just tell you what you want to hear to make the pain stop.

Pre-accident Strange is a lot like pre-accident-Stark. However, while Stark was a self centered asshole, he was very charming and sociable. He would do something douchey and everyone in the room would still love him. Strange, on the other hand, was a complete asshole. A total prick.
It's important the film really plays up what a douchebag he is for his transition to a near monk-like character to really payoff. If they don't go all in with him being a sack of shit it's just going to be the story of relatively good guy becoming very good guy. Given how well MCU Stark has been received, we may end up with more of a "loveable dick" Strange at the start.

This movie is looking much less humorous than most MCU movies. I got more of a Matrix and Inception vibe than I did an Iron Man vibe.

The Republic was corrupt and weak, its leaders were no longer fit for purpose and it had reach such a level of pathetic inability that a private corporation was able to blockade an entire planet to protest new taxes and their reaction was to send two Jedi to ask them to leave. The Jedi themselves were overpowerful and answered to no one, and to any outside observer were probably corrupt and a day away from taking over the republic.
Dooku merely tapped into perfectly resonable anger and frustration within the Republic to create the CIS, at worst he allowed the CIS to be dominated by corporations.
Hey guys. New to /co/, so please forgive me if what I ask makes me an idiot. I have a question I think only you guys can answer.
I'm looking for suggestions on good cartoons, but I'm specifically looking for old cartoons that most people wouldn't have heard of, and stuff that wouldn't appear on any "BEST OF 2012" lists or whatever. I've seen pretty much everything on those types of lists.
I always liked cartoons, and I recently randomly came across the entire series of a cartoon I had never heard of before called "silverwing", which was made many years ago. I just started watching and I think it's actually pretty good. It's not overly cartoony and has death and stuff, good art and characters, and seems pretty ok.
I'd like to know about more stuff like this show that I would have missed. Stuff that never comes up and is easily forgotten. Do you guys have any suggestions along these lines? Have any of you even heard of this show?
