Like Korra, the problem wasn't her character but that the story didn't make her grow properly.
The movie needed to introduce a clear central conflict early on and keep it's theming consistent.

Give her a reason to not want to marry beyond "I don't want to.". I get that political marriages suck, but we all gotta eat shit at some point.
It would've been nice if she wanted to focus on honing her warrior skills because her ambitions included defending her country. That would be reasonable enough, I think. Also would've been a good excuse to have more action beats, which this movie really needed instead of wacky bear mom antics.

It stands out. She doesn't emote at all and the audio isn't mixed into the scene properly. Like how when Mogwli talks it echoes a little and is covered by the sound of her slithering around him, hers doesnt, played on top of all that. Its not horrendous but it stands out. Same with the song in the credits, sounds like reading off paper.
Add in the fact its literally a 5 minute scene and I'm pretty sure it was phoned it.

I noticed that with the song too, but something I liked was none of the three songs were musical numbers. All three were just the characters singing to music, if that makes sense.
The difference between "Let it Go" and "Bear Necessties" is one is a stage performance, and the other is just enjoying a good song with your friend.
So this is about the only decent thing on Adult Swim's schedule right now. What does /co/ think of it?
