What's /ck/s favorite dipping sauce? What's your favorite thing to dip in said dipping sauce?
>>7346619
Ranch on everything
I like to dip my chicken nuggies in straight honey. I've been told it's weird.
My favorite for everything else would be honey mustard. Especially pretzels, even pizza sometimes.

Chicken + Ranch = God tier
They're not Shake Shack hotdogs, but man these shits are good.
>>7368654
why would anyone ever buy this many hot dogs? yes theyre good but for the price you forked over you could get as many larger more juicy deli suasages.
>>7368672
They were $2 each and came with a free drink.
>>7368675
Lol
why do people eat this garbage
popcorn is literally the cheapest, easiest, sort of healthiest, salty, tv snack you can buy and someone has managed to make it hell on earth
my dog won't even eat micowave popcorn and he LOVES popcorn
>>7367228
I tried cooking them on stove top once, and it just takes more time and tastes the same.
Is this thread a joke. Microwave popcorn is the the same as all other popcorn.
>>7367230

I hate this dumb shit, I'll eat my fucking food how i goddamn want
ITT : Food and cooking misfortunes which befall you
>recepie calls to bring to a boil and then simmer for 7min covered
>it's still slightly bubbling 3min into cooking even with the heat turned down to 2/10
>try to finagle with lifting cover to drop temp but it doesn't help
>have no idea if the food will be burnt or undercooked because of my actions and mechanisms beyond my control
this is the most stressful thing i have done all week
>making chicken and rice
>decide i wouldn't eat more than 1 piece of chicken
>left freezer bag with 3 pieces of breaded chicken breast out for maybe 10-15min
>still felt hard
>terrified they now have horrible food poision diseases and death
>debate throwing bag away
>>7369965
Slight bubbling is simmering, idiot.
>>7369965
A hundred thousand refugees wish they had your stress.
>this man walks into your kitchen and slaps you in the face with his Pear and tells you you're cooking sucks

i want to improve my knife skills. does anyone have any good videos or resources the recommend showing how to train to get faster and more accurate? do i just buy a ton of onions and carrots and stuff and keep working away at it?
>>7369898
Just keep practicing and always keep your knives sharp.
>>7369924
Whoa, whoa, whoa... "always?"
As long as you have decent form all you can do is practice, practice, and practice some more.
There's no secret beyond repetition with something like that.
What should I expect?
>>7369881
A buzz and a hangover.
Vomit.
>>7369881
Only drink it from the freezer. One shot. Just a nightcap.

It's like any other chinese buffet, besides the atmosphere/service being a little more upscale.
Eating clean, but tasty. Hopefully...
>>7369758
Egg whites with siracha and no salt seasoning, oatmeal with blueberries and cherries cooked in with it, celery, decent black coffee and lemon watet.
Spinach salad with roasted red peppers, red onion and grape tomatoes, topped with seared chicken breast with salt pepper paprika and old bay, German while grain toast with crunchy Peter pan on top and water.
Why are your serving mats and plates hovering off the edges of your table?
How far have you ever traveled just to try something out /ck/?
From NJ to Vermont to get some Heady Topper.

drove halfway across the state to fuck a new chic.
In a car? About 2300km.
What's the best way to make popcorn for a movie night in?
>>7369646
Air popper or a large pot.
>>7369646
Best if dieting: air popped + light butter + fine sea salt
Best for crispiness: 3qt dutch oven with corn oil or olive oil, about equal ratio. Sea salt and butter you melted or clarified.
Best (my favorite) savory option: dried ancho chilies cut into rings, toasted/crisped til smoking in a small nonstick with oil. Drizzle popcorn with oil, butter, lime zest and toss around with the chili rings, sea salt. Smoky+spicy+slightly sweet+salty+lime
Anyone got a good recipe for biscuits and gravy?
reduce milk til its a little thicker, a little sugar, some salt, some butter, some pepper
add starch or flour
pour in the fat of whatever meat
stir
pour on biscuits
>ITT: Foods or drinks you have never tried whether on purpose or coincidentally
Purposefully: Bananas, peanut butter.
Coincidentally:Apple Juice My family loved Orange or Grape juice. As such I never drank Apple Juice and only just realized I never tried it because they thought it was disgusting. Going to buy some today or make my own. Not sure.
