After a viral run in from a friend using my comp. - they went to a web - page and it started a pop-up cascade as well as loading some "helpful" programs.
I cut off net access, used windows add/remove programs to get rid of all but one program which I got out with ccleaner.
scanned and removed 3 trojans.
did a file check to verify windows in safe mode.
THEN did a system restore to two days previous.
THEN scanned again (clean) with 2 other virus checkers and spybot.
Everything seems fine but UAC is now twitchy.

Revert to an earlier time period. CCleaner is a program that likes to fuck with the registry. NEVER, EVER touch the registry. I don't care what they promise, it's like removing 3cm^2 portions of the human body at random and hoping all is well.
Just use an average antivirus, like Avast or Kaspersky. All will be fine, and you won't have to worry about it again.

You might have installed the wrong driver for your wifi. Try using the original driver CD if you have it.
BTW, what model is your wifi adapter, and what OS are you using? Be specific.
Dont think the driver is the problem.went in through device manager and updated it from there. Not sure about model no. But im on win10

I'm no tech expert, but with internet access I figured I could solve any problem. Early this morning, my Google Nexus 5 came on and was stuck on the Google logo screen on startup. It would not advance past this screen, no matter how long I waited. A little while ago, I got to looking online for solutions, and the common solution seems to be factory reset, followed by it working. For me, that is not the case; even after factory reset, it still stays on the logo. I've found some other guides online that may help me get around this, but like I said, I'm no computer...

I have had two different repeating problems that are kind of similar. Maybe. In one, after my computer has been on for a while, it will just freeze. Kind of vague, sorry.
The other, however, I will get a BSOD with the error code MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
