what order do i watch all the fate anime shit in?
i only really care about the anime, not the VNs.
It doesn't matter that much but this part is vital:
If you care even a tiny bit about the original story and the characters of this series, avoid Prisma Illya at all costs. It's not canon, so you won't lose anything.
Avoid the 2006 series simply titled, "Fate/Stay Night." This was produced by Studio Deen and is notoriously bad for botching the story and attempting to cram all of the routes into one season of anime, despite that making absolutely no sense at all.
Avoid the Unlimited Blade Works film. released in 2010 or 2009, also produced by Studio Deen.
If you really are so deadset on not reading the VN, then just watch the most recent anime production by Studio Ufotable, who adapted the Unlimited Blade Works route into a really good anime.

Kuroko no Basket is garbage. Although if you like powerlevel bullshit you might like it, Assuming you just want to stick to extremely mainstream battle shows you might like something like kabaneri It's basically attack on titan with trains.
If you're gonna watch a basketball anime, watch Slam Dunk. It's hilarious.
Try Hitsugi no Chaika for something with battles.

Preferred file format is .mkv, but you don't really need to worry about that, since the entire anime subbing/encoding community encodes anime in mkv containers, unless you ever start encoding anime yourself.
Preferred resolution is 720p. Most anime aren't drawn higher than 720p, so 1080p releases are mostly just upscales. If you want to save space or if your computer can't handle 720p, then 480p should be fine. Movies are fine for 1080p downloads though, of course. Blurays are also fine for...

Idk how close you need it to be to Terminator, but I promise there are plenty of mecha anime that are very similar to terminator. I would suggest googling mecha anime and reading the descriptions until you find one that suits what you're looking for
