Hey everyone. I'm attempting to record with my Audio-Technica 2020 XLR microphone. I have it connected to my pc (windows 7) with the Presonus Audiobox USB via male to female XLR cable. Every time I record, the mic is incredibly quiet. I've adjusted the levels under Control Pane/Sound/Recording and it's at it's max (100). Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

If you use the pictures shown (I can't tell if they are really similar) then
AC:EG = 11/35 (answer C).
If you use the order of the vertices for the correspondence and disregard the pics except for the measurements then the sides AB, BC, AC correspond to the sides EF, FG, EG, so the ratio AC:EG correspond to the scaling factor, which can only be determined by EF and the corresponding side AB. Therefore
AC:EG = AB:EF = 5/35 = 1/7 (answer A).
But I still think that answer C is correct.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the order of the vertices. Although the diagram is really shitty and misleading, the definition of similarity is that corresponding sides are in proportion and corresponding angles are congruent.
Although the diagram seems to imply BC corresponds to EF,
since similarity is defined in the above way, we have to conclude BC actually corresponds to FG (based on the order).

Most of the internet resources I've found just explain the difference between a recursive and an authoritative server, but rarely touch on how these should be configured to work in unison.

From what I understand, the computer should send queries to the DNS servers specified in resolv.conf in the order they're listed in the file.

I've been recently troubled by Java applets. I use both Chrome and Internet Explorer, but the same problems occur on both of them.
1. Either the applet doesn't load (this includes the reCAPTCHAs on 4chan)
2. Or the applet is taken over or hijacked by a spam ad asking to update flash. This even happens with YouTube videos.
I've tried all the malware programs I can think of and emptying the JAVA cache and reinstalled Java, too.
Anyone have any ideas?

To start off, I'm a lonely friendless loser who likes to drown his woes in escapism. I'd like to know what games are good to achieve this.
What I'm looking for is a (preferably single player) RPG where I can feel like I'm really part of the world. So I've been helping anons on /r/ and /wsr/ for a while and I was wondering if we should create some basic tutorials for common requests. That way those few of us who actually lurk /wsr/ to help could focus on harder requests and actually teach people how to look for stuff.
