I would have gotten him an ssd but i he doesn' mind the thrashing slowdown of hdds then cool too. 1 stick of ddr is smart since he only has one slot and he might want to possibly upgrde in the future. When I do budget builds I usually hook people up with an amd fx-6300 an ssd and 8 gb of ram for around $400. E could go that route and spend the remaining money on other parts if he wants to do that.

What I'm looking for in specific is armor thickness of the turret mantlet.
Any books/magazines or manuals of the other kv tanks is also appreciated.
The books i have access to right now is:

It is unlikely that you will encode a complete movie, so you might be tempted to use -ss and -t (or similar) options to select a segment. If you do that, be very sure to have both as input options (before the -i). For example:

That's what's happening. I changed the script -ss to a time within my video and -t to 6 seconds (also valid), it doesn't work, the gif doesn't get created, the file does but it "contains errors". I open the video by itself and get one frame (the palette).
