Quick question. Came home from a trip to my pc refusing to boot. PSU has white gunk in it. Strong static discharge when I touched the chassis. No obvious damage to internals other than PSU. Changed out the PSU with a known good unit. Still no boot (no fans, no LEDs, etc. Silence.). What do I try to replace first?

My laptop has been having problems with staying connected to wifi lately and I haven't made any updates until it started bugging out. At one point my laptop wouldn't connect to my university wifi for about a day, no matter what I did, though it also affected my phone too. Currently, my home wifi is not playing well with my laptop. I've reset my router, and the wifi would work for an hour before disconnecting again. Then I tried updating my wireless drivers and the same thing happened. I can't imagine it's normal to have to keep resetting the router every...

Sounds like a similar problem I'm having. I'm thinking of getting a new wireless adapter. Current one is a Tenda USB adapter and it routinely disconnects internet until I pull it out an set it in a different usb port. I do this like 5-10 times a day.

Try loading up a live usb of linux. Ubuntu or mint, (use unetbootin) then you can find out if its hardware or software related.

Recently I've been getting into reading Japanese. I'm mostly (emphasis on MOSTLY) able to understand spoken Japanese, but I've been very lax on learning Kanji and Katakana.
I decided recently that it would be easiest for me to learn these if I was forced to learn them for a manga I was passionate about. Thus Hunter x Hunter, my absolute favorite anime. I do believe the weed was a petty offense for possession inside the park...while I don't think it was processed as a crime, rather as a civil infraction, I can't say for sure
