So I got my HP Proliant ML10 v2. I have installed the HDD, the graphic card.
I connect it to the monitor and boot it up. It says something like Early System Initialization. It runs fine and then it come to the PCI installation or something. After that, the screen goes black. The computer is running. Monitor still receives signal from the computer but there is nothing on the computer.

P/S: I don't have a optical drive. I intend to install the OS from the USB. But now the computer just goes black screen every time after the early system initialization. Should I boot it up without the bootable USB? Should I try to boot it without the HDD?

What is this even? I can't picture what you're talking about so not sure what you should do. Is it part of BIOS? is it part of some OS setup?

I don't know. I boot up the computer for the first time and it said that. Probaly BIOS i guess?

turn off your PC, your cell phone, sit down and start to study.

You need your PC to check something?

NO YOU DON'T.

STOP GIVING EXCUSES AND START STUDYING.

What are good table games for exactly 6 people? Most games I've seen either become too convoluted or with lots of downtime having 6 players.

Two instances of Ascension. Or any other combination of the fine three-player games available.

Bogging down is an intrinsic aspect of six player games, just because if it's one person's turn, it's five people's non-turn.

It's not really the same thing, but party/team games like Articulate, Cards against Humanity, Cranium, Jungle Jam, work well because they either have multiple people to each "player", or they have turns where everyone participates at the same time.

Zombies! kinda works, especially with all the expansions. I imagine coop games like Heroquest and its knockoffs would work too.

I don't remember any links though...

I am looking at getting a dell inspiron 15 7000 2 in 1 model (other model suggestions welcome)

The new deals on dells site are online and I've hit a snag

Do I buy the i3 model that comes with 4GB & 500HDD for $799aud (in this case I would buy an 8GB stick and 256GB SSD and fit them myself)...

Or take the plunge and spend a few hundred more and get the i5 or i7 which comes with all the above already fitted

I don't game, the most intensive thing I do is running 20-30 tabs on a browser which includes videos streaming

What do?

Any other models and deals accepted.. currently in Australia but moving to Europe in 2 months

Cheers!

If all you're going to do is web browsing and HD video streaming, the i3-6100U will do just fine. It has integrated Intel® HD 520 Graphics which will do all that you need and more.

as you can see, this CPU can do more than you need it to. <iframe width="854" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/C-C5so_shm4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The pic describes the problem.

The answer sheet says the answer is (year) 2036, but I don't know how to figure this out.

>>
>>81745
Ok, so you're looking for the year where N>80,000. Set N = 80,000. Then you have:

80000 = 52000*e^(.012t)
Divide both sides by 52k:

80000/52000 = e^(.012t)

Take the natural log on both sides:
ln(80000/52000) = ln(e^(.012t))

Now, as you've probably learned at some point, ln(e^x) = x. So, when you reduce ln(e^(.012t)) you get:
ln(80000/52000) = .012t

Divide both sides by .012:

ln(80000/52000)/.012 = t
t=35.898576341

I'm not entirely sure why they're rounding up to 2036 for the answer, but maybe the precise wording of the question makes that clear.

Thank you! This helped! :)

Bc they're looking for a round year and in 2035 the population isnt big enough yet.

i had heard that the proper english version of this manga had pages removed, as well as edits made to its contents. i was wondering if anyone could direct me to an "uncensored" version, in english

Erm, no.

That's the Dark Horse localisation which, as noted by OP, is censored.

OP, I think you'll have to read that and the raw side-by-side, and spot the censorship yourself. AFAIK, no-one's bothered to translate it since it got an "official" translation. I always meant to backport the censored pages into the Dark Horse version, but then I remembered that manga sucks and I couldn't be fucked with the effort.

Maybe you can be the hero that pokemon deconstructions deserve.

I'm pretty sure GWR did an unedited version years ago, but nobody seems to have archived their releases.

I think I read that version - but I'm with you as far as the quality of the series is concerned, so I didn't save the files.

So, I wanted to ask for help/advice. I just finished building my own desktop and was testing everything to make sure it worked, and ended up frying my monitor. I want to ask how to proceed. Details below:

I first tested the desktop, and when I flipped the switch it turned on, motherboard light up, fans started, optical drive opened/closed, USB ports were live, etc.

So I was about to plug it into a new 21.5" Asus monitor, which I had tested and found to be working upon arrival, in order to start into the BIOS settings. While the desktop was on, I plugged an HDMI cable into the I/O port on the motherboard and connected the other end to the monitor. As I then began to plug the monitor's three-pronged power supply plug into a grounded outlet, it shorted the monitor in a blast of light and sound and the monitor refused to turn on thereafter. It wouldn't work in any of the outlets in the house. The desktop was also hit by whatever electrical problem because it turned the entire desktop off at the same time, but the desktop restarted fine afterwards and the connecting HDMI cable worked for other devices.

Also, the desktop and the monitor were plugged into two separate outlets at the time of the short if that bears any relevance.

I'd like to ask how to proceed. Obviously I can't move forward with the new desktop until I can hook up a display, and I'd like to test if the motherboard's HDMI port still works, but I don't want to sacrifice any more monitors in the process. What should I do, /g/?

Thanks in advance.

>>
>>81727

Wow thats fucked. I always hotswap videonl cables back and forth to different screens. I always have used dvi though since that is what my outputs use. Since you use hdmi you pretty need a current monitor or tv so I would go that route. I always keep my stuff powered on while I hotswap and this never happened. You probably want to do research and see if this is a common occurance.
>>
>>81739

Yeah I've never had any trouble hotswapping either, and by this point I've probably done it a couple hundred times.

In reading about it other people have reported similar short outs under similar circumstances, but only when the devices were plugged into separate outlets and one of the outlets had the live and the ground leads miswired. I'd gonna try something this afternoon, but any advice in the meantime would be great.

Hello everyone.
I have recently acquired a computer even though I already decided to build one. So I decided to use this one for a while I save up a little more money.

I was checking out the motherboard and I can't figure out the exact model. Obviously an ASRock. Anybody have any idea? I'm asking because I want to update BIOS.

Can't you run a vm? Or boot up with a portable windows version and try to get it? Anyways my point is that making your iwn legitimate iso is the safest route. If you can't just pirate some popular torrent just for the sake of installing it to temporarily create your own iso and then install the good real legit version.
