You can start with either. If you want to waste less of your time, read the manga. If you decide to watch the anime, skip all the filler. Apparently, there are even sites dedicated to this. Interesting:

By the way, the anime got cancelled before the manga finished, so if you do watch the anime, I believe you start on chapter 480 to pick up where it left off.

The anime is ok but full of fillers that you have to skip. Plus it was cancelled so the story isnt complete. The manga is still ongoing. Imo watch the anime until episode 310. Then start the manga at chapter 423. Is it worth it? Definitely, but judge for yourself. Bleach starts slow the first 12 or so episodes ate not like the rest so dont judge it based on those, but on the arc that starts there

I'm running Windows 7 and for the past few weeks, Windows Explorer has been crashing a lot. I'll get an error message saying that it's stopped working, my desktop icons will stop working, and all my personal files (everything in my Documents, Pictures, and Videos folders) will become inaccessible. Up until today, restarting the computer would fix the problem. Sounds like your hard drive is dying.
You should get a new hard disk, or upgrade to a SSD.
Since you have a spare computer, try to plug your Hard drive on it to recover the files you can (it won't hurt to backup even if the drive is ok), then to do a disk check to confirm its state.
It could be a virus too.
I'd still backup the files I want to keep and check for any viruses when the drive is connected to the other computer.

I don't have a spare computer, I got online by opening Internet Explorer with a Command Prompt. I'm broke so I can't afford a new computer or a new hard drive.
Also, how would I go about backing up my files without being able to use Windows Explorer or access anything on my C: drive? I could try uploading everything to my e-mail one by one, but that'd take forever and the bigger files probably wouldn't get through.
I need anime that has people fighting just to fight, like how in dragon ball z goku doesn't really give a shit about being a hero, he just wants a good battle. i need more anime where the character/s just want to fight, and don't have any higher ideals.

I have not found a good anime to watch in a long while. If I can easily access something good or if I'm overlooking something, is there anything you all would recommend? Vampire stuff can be cool. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has vampires, but they have a cool twist to them. Plus they're all fucking bad asses. Pic related. They quickly drop the vampire antagonists for a much more interesting type of antagonist though.

On a different note, there is the six volume series Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne. Same main characters in each episode, but they are immortal, and different episodes are generations apart. R-rated though.
